[The Strickland] Leon Rose was hired to bring in a star — he ended up breaking a curse: What if the Knicks’ long-awaited messiah wasn’t a player, but a president?

You always need a strong president and good FO to achieve something
Knicks have clearly had a goal and a plan for a long time and they’ve been steadily executing it
We’re a long way away from where we were, the entire FO deserves credit

Jalen Brunson is the messiah lol
Leon has been everything we could’ve asked for though

The player that Broke the Knicks Curse was Isaiah Hartenstein. And if the knicks lose him. They will be cursed again

I don’t think even Leon had envisioned how far randle and Brunson would have come. But what he did was add, and stockpile picks. This allowed them to develop and see what they needed and sit back, scan the league for who they think fits best.
He kept the knicks ready to seize an opportunity if it showed itself and he just cashed in. While still having draft capital. Is it too early to call it a Master class?

Brunson is a star. He did what he was supposed it.

when leon rose was hired one of the first moves he made was taking on ed davis for a couple 2rps. i liked ed davis and using cap for picks was something the team just did not want to do for some reason. the next day he flipped ed davis for another 2rp and cash, essentially getting 3 2rps for free. it was small moves but that moment of competence had me so intrigued by what was to come. never expected this, especially not so soon, but man, when we said we back in 21, we meant it. thank you for putting knicks basketball back on the map leon & co
