This Could Change EVERYTHING…

the Oklahoma City Thunder are looking to just add one more piece to their current roster to actually be called Championship contenders and believe that they can win the 2025 NBA Finals but there’s a player that just got added on to the trade market from the Milwaukee Bucks that I think is the perfect fit for the Thunder that could actually make us contenders and be the final missing piece for us to finally bring a ring back to Oklahoma City we’re going to be talking about him today because there are also two players from this team that they put on the Market Milwaukee bugs they put two players on the market just yesterday saying like Hey we’re going to shop them around now one of them you know I don’t necessarily think he’s a fit for the squad I don’t think we should trade for him but we will talk about him in case you know it’s kind of a package deal where we have to get both them or we can’t get uh any of them at all and so we’ll talk about him as well see what kind of player he is but the player that I’m really interested in is in is a power forward 610 and I think he’s a good foot for us I think he’s perfectly encapsulates what we kind of do here in Oklahoma City for style of offensive play and the guy we’re talking about here it’s Bobby poris all right Bobby poris and Pat cison are available on the train Market uh per Mike Scot rival Executives have also Come Away with the sense that Bobby poris and Pat conon are available on the train Market if Milwaukee can make a notable win now upgrade both players however have been mentioned as possible trade candidates in the past and nothing has come of it por just finished as a sixthman of the Year finalist for the second straight year and so I think he’s a good addition to the team I do I think he’d be great for us on the squad it just comes down to can we offer like can we put together a package that the Bucks would be willing to take you know to trade for him because I feel like we couldn’t offer a lot of win now players for the bucks so I don’t know if they’re trying to just clear up some cap space so they can go and sign someone or what the deal is going on there in Milwaukee if they’re looking like okay maybe we’re going to trade them and then know maybe we can put together a package to trade for someone else or go out there and sign a big name in free agency cuz there are a few names out there that are quite interesting there are But first you know we’re going to go ahead look at the players look at the stats kind of break it down what they would be bringing to the squad and so the first player we’re going to talk about here is Bobby poris of course who I think is a great fit for the Thunder all right I think it’d be the perfect move for us okay 14 points per game 7.4 rebounds 1.3 assists you know uh not really you know getting a lot of blocks per game almost a steel per game which kind of caught me off guard uh less than two turnovers at 1.1 2.3 fouls per game 50% from the field and 40% from behind the three-point line he’s 610 29 years old reaching the prime of his career he’s right where he’s going to be the best he shoots 40% on Corner threes 98% of his threes are assisted so a bunch of pick and pop are sit in the corners you know drawing in Defenders and then 26% of all his shots are three so it’s not like he’s going to be taking a ton of three-point shots that’s not the case he’s not really going to be doing that it’s a lot of okay you know I’m going to make sure I go down in the mid-range you know bang down load but I can’t shoot the three ball every now and then and I can make them is what his kind of game says for us and we love the three ball all right we were the we were number one in three-point percentage last year as a team we shot the three ball a good amount as well you noticed some games where we were kind of relying on that because we noticed we were hot behind the arc and so I think it adds a great three or I say great great for his position three-point shooting wise he’s a good three-point shooter he’s efficient from the field he gets rebounds which is great for us at 610 7.4 uh boards per game uh as a six-man that was great for Bobby poris it’s great it would be great addition to the team give us a big man coming off the bench or even if you want to you can throw him in the starting LM because I feel like that would work because it moves jayb back down to the three Dort at the two Shay at the one Chad at the five poris at the four and so there’s a lot of kind of Versatility with p on the team Caruso would be our sixth man coming off the bench and then you can also flip it around if you want to go with a you know a little bit of a smaller lineup P Caruso start at the three dub at the four Chad at five poris as their six man coming off the bench so it could be a good situation that we have going on with kind of the versatility of the position needs that they both can fill and poris like I mentioned his style of game I feel like it’s a perfect fit for the Thunder I think it’s that piece that we really could be missing to be a Contender and make it to the finals I think he is the missing piece when you look at everything he brings to the table now the other guy on the list p h all right I I’m not really a fan I don’t see where he fits in with this thunder Squad at 5.6 points a game three rebounds two assists defensively me he’s mad defensively 1.3 fouls per game lesson a turnover again which is kind of nice 43% from the field 34% from behind the ark 65 getting on side 31 you know 31 and a half he shoots 40% on Corner threes 96% of Threes are assisted and 68% of all of his shots are three-pointers so he’s not like he’s not horrible he’s not great though and so it’s kind of like I don’t see where he necessarily fits in with the squad is my problem so I don’t know if Milwaukee is going to try to like package them both in a trade and then you know if we want poris we have to trade for conon as well I don’t know if that’s this situation going on or if we could just straight up trade for poris and not worry about conon and he gets traded to another team that’s where like my kind of concern is with you know this whole like them both being on the trade market I don’t know if they’re trying to package them together because I only want poris that’s the only player I want I don’t really want conon on the team I don’t see where he could actually fill in a spot and get good playing time and Che out for us cuz when I look at him he’s a guy that can only get 8 to 10 minutes a game for us off Off the Bench all right I just I like he’s not one of our top eight guys if he comes to the team whereas poris he’d be a you know top six guy for us on the team he’s either six-man or a starter for us all right just depends what kind of lineup we want to roll out there so it’s just interesting to look at it that way it’s like H Pat conon he doesn’t really have a spot on the team but we might have to trade for him if we want poris because they might be like okay well you know we want to trade them both we want to put them both in a package but if that’s not the situation going on there then I have some you know I devised a little train now mine aren’t always the best all right they’re not always the greatest trade but I put together something that I think could possibly work out to get Bobby poris if they’re looking to just clear up some cap space or you know just maybe they’re not really necessarily in win now because you know Giannis is a little disgruntled Dames a little disgruntled from last season as well they didn’t really play the best that they should have they got eliminated in the first round so a little trade package that I put together is this one right here all right we send them over Kendrick Williams Usman Jang uh a first round pick from 2025 second round pick from 2026 and another one from Golden State in 2026 all right so three picks two of them second rounders and two players that realistically if we add Bobby poris to the team and you know get another solid guy through the draft both these guys wouldn’t get much time so it might be better off just sending them away all right and it’ probably be best for usan Jang to go over to the Bucks as well to develop and learn under GIS or someone like that whereas he doesn’t really have anyone to Mentor him over here in OKC and then in return we get Bobby poris and uh their second round pick from Portland this year the 33rd overall pick because there are some Fringe guys that are a lot of project guys in this draft that I have going you know late first round early second round and so it’s one of those things are like okay you can look at it and be like yeah go ahead you know take him we can work on him for two years if it doesn’t work out we can just trade or decline his team option there so it’s one of those things where like I feel like if we do trade for poris this is a very realistic trade that we could see just because it gets rid of a guy who even even if we add por on the team and he stays with Kendrick Williams he’s not going to get time because poris is going to get all of williams’ minutes all right Krick Williams minutes are going to go to poris usan Jang he’s going to be another two-way guy for the Thunder who just keeps on splitting time in between the NBA and G league and when he does come to the NBA he’s playing against the other team scrubs when we’re up or down by 30 points and so he’s not really getting valuable time on the court and it’s going to be like one of those giddy situations where it might be best for the player in general as well to go to another team when you look at it usan J he has a ton of potential it’s just it’s not going to be realized on this Thunder team I don’t think prey is willing to take a chance for our backup big and you know potentially you know starting power forward in Usman Jen this season with a guy who’s barely played in the league I don’t think prey would do that he’d rather get someone that’s established all right and that’s where Bobby poris comes in so it might be best to trade him and of course if you really want to sweeten up the deal and for sure get him you throw in the load of draft picks that we have with that first rounder and two second rounders because realistically we’re probably not using those second rounders and we have like you know over the next two drafts I think like 11 Picks 11 or 12 through the first and second round so we’re going to need to get rid of them because we’re not going to be bringing in six guys through the draft each season all right each offseason we’re not going to be doing that so we got to get rid of him so it might be good to sweeten up the deal and for sure get it done and we might be able to uh be the team that can offer the best package for the bucks and get Bobby poris like I mentioned though the only worry about it is if we have to also trade for Pat conon because I just don’t see a spot for him on the team that’s the only time I you know that’s the only thing that gets me worried about potentially training for poris is we also have to take on conon he has a small contract all right it’s not a big contract I think it’s 2 years 7 or 8 million uh two years uh seven or eight each year I believe something like that so it’s not really a large contract it expires uh right as soon as dub and Chad become free agents and we can sign them to extensions and so it’s one of those things we’re like uh and at the end of the day it won’t be end all Beall it’s just it wouldn’t be ideal for us to take him because he’d just be taking up time on the bench we could potentially trade him to another team during the middle of the season and so that’ probably be what we do if we have to take con as well and like I mentioned as well this kind of point with this trade both those players are just on two years left of their contract soon as their contract expires we can resign dub and chat and give them extensions so it works out perfectly for us instead of taking a one-year rental for someone for a superstar or you know having to resign one of those Superstars that we trade for like a Lori marinin and then have to give up either chat or Dub with this option it gives us a two-year Championship window with those guys to resign dub and chat before you know they kind of walk away because I don’t think we resign him especially if we’re going to try to keep Caruso for the long term like it seems but that’s really all I got for this video let me know what you guys think down in the comments section if you guys think poris is a great addition to the team or if you think the opposite if you think I’m just full of it and it’s actually you know horrible idea cuz I really like poris I think it’d be a good addition I think it’s that piece we’re missing all right I think it is but you guys might have a different opinion so let me know in the comments and I’ll see you guys in the next video
