  1. Chris Paul is pretty much filler for the trade to work but the upside is that his contract ends next season — Clippers would save up $30M just by obtaining him.

I hate Lawrence Frank for mismanaging this shit for the last season plus.

I was screaming at the top of my lungs that this exact situation would happen. Granted, any savvy fan who follows the NBA could see this shit show a mile away.

This trade is absolute trash to answer your question.

I’d rather he walk for nothing rather than have to deal with this absolute dumpster fire.

  3. Replace GP with Moses Moody and we are talking. Lose the second first round pick and this is very do-able.

Jonathan Kuminga would help so much. We need size and power in our roster

I don’t want Chris Paul, id love Kuminga or Randle and some picks

Anything + Kuminga is winning for Clipper.

What do the Warriors actually gain from this?

CP3 has a terrible contract but he’s one of the best bench players in the league.

He’ll na 😅 PG got a player option my guy, Clippers have zero leverage or control in where he goes. He can walk for nothing and get himself a max…

  9. Desperate_Alps8171

Clippers fans in here demanding Kuminga lol PG13 can opt out and leave y’all. Take CP3/Wiggins/Looney/Couple Picks and call it a day

  10. Something I was thinking about this morning…I think we have a 2nd round pick from the Pacers coming in this off season, and then don’t have any more until 2030. We are also sending out our 2024 1st round and 2028 first round. We have swaps on our 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2029 first round picks, but that means we WILL have a first round pick those years. If we grab 2026 and 2028 draft picks, then that means we will officially have 6 first round picks in the next 6 years (just some are pushed back, and some have swaps attached to them). That’s not half bad! And after this draft, we will have 6 first round picks in the following 5 drafts. The swaps may hurt us, but that’s not nearly as bad as I thought it was. Especially because I’m not really sure how much value is coming from those second round picks. Adding Kuminga would be huge as well, giving us another piece to start to build around (especially if Kai, Bones, Coffey, and Brown can take some real steps forward this next season).

You guys are cursed forever if you do that 🤣

  12. I wish.

This is way too much, we are absolutely not getting this.

We don’t have the leverage to get this much. If we get Kuminga, that itself is a W. We’re not getting unprotected 1st round picks on top of that.

  13. joshisboomin

Man if we got half of this I would be happy. The playoff collapses cancel each other out so we’re left with GP2 , kuminga and some picks for a role player marketed as an all star

  14. RidiculousNickk

If y’all are expecting this kind of haul for PG, you will be very disappointed.

  15. sagittariuslegend

I don’t get the CP3 hate. I’d love for us to get him his 1st chip. He’s not putting in too many minutes obviously but we need a locker room leader.

  16. I don’t understand why everyone wants CP back so bad??

  17. Jeezy_7_3

The fact that we get first round picks. I’d do it, this gives Steph another shot at a ring. The clips can look towards the future and still field a competitive team if we decide to keep Kawhi and harden

  18. There is no way in hell the Warriors go for that. They’d be giving up way too much for a guy who has a track record of playoff collapses.

  19. Fabtacular1

Would be good but they’re going to try to sneak in Wiggins instead of Kuminga.

  20. RyverFisher

I’m just really not into =<6’8″ PFs, I think 6’9″ should be the bare minimum with 6’10.5″ the absolute sweet spot, with a solid wing span to boot.

If the Rockets are getting desperate for star power and would trade Jabari, I’d take that in heart beat over this.

  21. unpopular-dave

I would do this in a heartbeat. Those pics are going to be good.

then immediately flip Kuminga for more
