My favorite prospect at 10 for months now. Cody Williams has a ton of potential. Came in as one of the highest ranked recruits and got hurt as he was starting gain momentum at CU. I love his fit as a 2 for us, but he could develop into a 3.
Like Hendricks last year, he needs to add bulk and fill out his frame. Williams is already such a good driver and finisher at the basket, imagine what happens when he’s 210+ lbs… he has a 7’1” wingspan and already has a decent floor as a defender… again, adding size/strength to his frame will be key to how good he can get on that end. He shot well from 3 on LOW volume, but he definitely needs to clean up his jumper and become more consistent. I’d say he’s much better as a slasher than he is as a shooter right now.
