see the emotion from the young man there Stephen e first time I’ve ever seen a kid in my life I love him already I love that kind of attitude that’s what I’m drafting somebody with a top 10 pick I want somebody with that attitude okay I love it I don’t well you know you do you Ser just like you know how to do back okay here’s the deal this kid I love the attitude but let’s understand something here Demar Deo an unrestricted free agent Zack LaVine only played in 25 games last year missed the most games since rookie camp if I remember correctly they need somebody like this and look at this pit the handle the Hops the the you know the jab step and the pull up I mean they I know how to evaluate something like that I mean I’m seeing this kid right here and I’m thinking about Chicago I’m thinking about the attitude my only issue was when he was picked they started playing what I call Michael Jordan music that music should not be allowed in Chicago until they start winning some playoff games we our that’s it that’s not the kid’s fault though congratulations to the kid yeah no it’s great and I agree with all that even including the song He’s a great look you not a lot of holes in this guy’s game not a lot of holes and and and I like the confidence too confidence is a huge part of succeeding as a young player in the NBA and he has it in Spades and and the guy played well and he his feel defensively Kevin and Stephen it’s not just the offensive stuff they didn’t show a lot of he could block shots do a lot of things you know what I else had liked I don’t know if any of the other players have thanked the organization small thing but you know he said I I want to thank the Bulls it stood out he said thank you for picking me I appreciate that he wanted to be there I like the emotion it was the right kind of emotion and I think the Bulls got something and this guy question is Stephen A what are the Bulls trying to do are they trying to go young they did the trade with giddy they’ve got older players still they got D Roan they got they got yeah you don’t know what they’re trying to do right now because with LaVine you can’t rely on him because of his health and with d rozan you don’t blame him if he wants to leave because it’s a relatively stagnant situation you get a kid like that you going to need time for him to mature but he’s local product Chicago has one of the best fan bases in America they’re going to Rally behind their team they’re certainly going to Rally behind an individual that’s homegrown with that kind of talent that kind of attitude wanting to be there and oh by the way just as a reminder it’s freezing as hell in Chicago good and he wants to be there anyway that’s a very big thing it’s a very big thing [Music] [Applause] [Music] NBA is
