I did watch a fair few Wiz games cause I’m a masochist and he’s damn good, he’s been steadily improving. No clue why they traded him, maybe they think Dilly will fall to 14 and they’re high on him. Or that they are in danger of being too good too quickly if he stays on the roster? Who knows. But his contract is killer too.

Deni is good. He’s what a lot of the guys that will be around the 14th pick will be. Only difference is that this guy is actually putting up those numbers in the NBA now. Not another project for us to take on.
Consider the 2029 pick will probably be a very late pick via the Celtics, this is an OK trade. Don’t panic.

I actually have the unfortunate circumstance of being a fan of the Blazers and the Wizards. Grew up in DC, and been living in PDX for most of my adult life.
Avdija is legit, and he will play well for the blazers, he’s improved every year, the only real bright spot the Wiza and syncs up with the young core, has a really nice complimentary game.

God the wizards are stupid. Not only is he young and really good but he’s also on possibly the best contract in the nba.

He’s a good shooter, has connective abilities off the bounce, is a plus defender, and he’s 6’9. Very good get for what we had to trade away. There’s a decent chance that none of Williams, Holland, or Buzelis will become as good as he is right now if not being straight up bad.
