I always think of the Korolev and the Aminu picks together. In both cases the Clippers were strongly linked to a wing prospect that they ended up passing up on… only for Indiana to draft them instead (Danny Granger / Paul George).
At least Aminu wasn’t a total bust from Day 1. Korolev was a huge stretch (as in he could have been available in the 2nd round), and never looked like he belonged at the NBA level.
