WHY THE ATLANTA HAWKS MAY BE TRADING FORMER 1ST ROUND PICK?

you would likely see rumors start to fly about DeAndre Huna likely getting traded man because uh Zachary Rouse um I think he’s the future in Atlanta and I think Jaylen Johnson is also a future star here in Atlanta so somebody’s going to have to come out of that back cour I think DeAndre H is going to be that guy and with rumors already starting to circulate that they’re probably looking at moving him it’s not a surprise you talk about a guy who’s been injured often early on um broken WR toring miniscus and that happened right in the middle of a playoff run but actually he’s coming off his best year which make some people say hey maybe he can come off the bench but $22.5 million to come off the bench is a lot of money is my boy uh A1 forever with safe um 15.6 points last year career high almost four rebounds shot 38 12% for three-point range uh field goal was 45.9 so his shooting was up there and if you’re going to have him around um after you make this draft pick uh because he still does have a good defensive presence because he’s a two-way player you better be damn sure you know what you’re doing because you passed on big man you had like seven centers six or seven centers go in the first round at least a four or five of them are seven Footers so when you lose that that that leverage of going to get that Rim protected that you desperately need and yeah even the Memphis Grizzlies reach for uh Zack Ed who’s 74 uh who’s probably going to be one of those guys that can take on a Joel and beat or or yic because they’re big body Sinners so DeAndre hter where does he fit don’t know but I definitely do think uh he possibly could be on the way out and I said it a couple of years ago before they gave him the big deal package him and John Collins and go get picks if that’s gonna help um go get a solid role player but there are players out here and I hear there are teams in the market for DeAndre Hunter but I don’t think you’ll get the return that you’re looking for now if you can go out and get a second round pick or a couple of second round picks and get your seven foot in this draft I think you still win this draft because guess what you’ll still have a body right there in the middle um to help with oku and uh Clint capella if he stay here but that’s another big contract but that’s another story uh but coming off for career year with DeAndre Hunter would you keep him or should they go ahead and move him but the with the movement of orisa with The Pick of orisa Shay and a pick of jayen Johnson a couple of years ago I think he’s inable tell me what y’all think man drop those comments let the make let’s have fun man y’all know how we do it on the Sports Machine she boy Antoine SM Smith signing off our holl at y’all later man peace

Smitty gives you his thoughts on why the Atlanta Hawks may trade former 1st round pick DeAndre Hunter.

  1. Nowadays in this league you have to have depth! If the coach can see him as a valuable piece, they he's a keeper, but if they see another way to get some depth at certain positions then move him.
But depth should be the focus this season, because now we got players can dominate at every position.

  2. Atlanta got that mindset like we in the early 2000,s we always shopping for discounts in the dented can buggy at the grocery store. It cost money to win .
