So annoying we always do this. Hopefully it’s future 2nd rounders

The Magic are trading No. 47 to New Orleans for two future pick swaps (2030 and 2031), per source.

For pick swaps?! Probably 2nd round swaps but still better than cash

2 future seconds. They’re becoming more valuable and we have AB Jett and Tristan to incorporate already. Not mad at all
Edit: pick swaps apparently not actual picks..

Annoying but predictable
I get that the odds of any individual player in the 2nd round turning into a regular nba player is low, but I do think it’s dumb we just throw it away every single year. Especially since so many before this year were high second round picks that border on the first round.
I just don’t understand not trying to leverage every asset you have when you’re running a franchise in a small market that’s never won it all. Pick a guy with upside and see if he does anything in the g-league

You just knew it was coming….this team hates drafting 2nd rounders.

Not for cash either! Future pick swaps. That’s betting on being in a better position than New Orleans in 6-7 years

If it’s for future firsts that’s not bad, I read it was for cash considerations. I think there were some remaining players that were worth a shot in the 2nd but it’s not the end of the world.

Fuck yeah, we just landed either two middle schoolers or cash a decade from now. /s

This makes sense. We don’t need anymore young unexperienced players. Let the focus shift to free agency.

Wouldnt this mean its more likely we trade for a vet?

Fuck yeeeeahhhhh. Now we’re talking…

Just curious how was Antonio Reeves? I trust the front office but sheesh he shot 45% from 3 last year?

I hate it but it’s expected
Prestigious_Earth_10
lmao wouldnt trade a 2nd rd pk to get a buddy hield for the playoffs like what philli did but willing to trade one for a swap
trazcer
Bronny James would have been more entertaining.
TheSalamiShop
I mean that’s fair. The real moves need to happen in free agency the next couple of years.

Cash Considerations is my favorite draft pick
