this is how it started for the Hawks I seen this interview with Alex s thank shout out to my boy let’s get it G man for sting in this clip uh Alex s did not want to be in Atlanta uh and this is what he said so I I got the tough question in the room I want to we want to know I want to know you know what was it about Atlanta that made you not want to be there since you didn’t work out for them you didn’t visit you know they got the number one pick you could have potentially went with the number number one pick what is it about ATL yeah I mean I never sat didn’t want to be there you know and uh I got a great team of Agents around me that that lead me to the choice but I think you know Atlanta saw me play this year I was playing Atlanta when I was at OT so I don’t think it’s all about one workout yeah okay yeah yeah look your film your film is what you got your film is your proof you’re saying I’m in I was in Atlanta they saw me work out you know their Scouts were at the game why do I need to go work out for them that’s basically what you’re saying I mean I’m just saying that there’s probably enough film out there you know just for one day workouts the Atlanta Hawks uh take Zack richet um from the France uh FNB Elite League um he’s only 19 years old just turned 19 literally two months ago and 6′ n and I think he could grow a little bit more heywise because if y’all remember uh Paul George started at 66 and ended up at 69 so as I look at it uh I actually like the pick man because the depth that the wi with the Hawks it’s not as deep as you think and the reason why I say that um DeAndre Hunter has been injury prone uh throughout his career and it really made him Expendable and this is why they went from Alex SAR and Donovan clinging back to Rich sh because they’re now big men on the open market such as James wisman um you look at free agents is OG alobi uh who was just with New York uh so maybe the Hawks are cooking some up to build up their front court or maybe they have uh confidence in uh Russ shet I’m sorry uh confidence in on o double O as we call uh so maybe they move ahead with their front court but I still think there’s a good chance Clint capella gets traded because that $22 million um for his limited offensive game I don’t think it’s worth it uh so Ry sh will probably come in I hope they have him in you know playing him like the when we didal with the Spurs last year maybe 20 25 minutes a game uh get his feet wet and play to the role that we’re drafting him to be in uh because like I said with the Andre H likely out and he’s another um solid Defender but Rich Shay plays defense very well too and um he can put up points and he has a he’s more of a catch and shoot Guy and um I think that’s something that fits the Hawks because Trey is a facilitator and DeAndre I’m sorry DJ dejonte Murray uh is also one of those guys uh that can run the point very well with the first or second unit so uh you add in a scorer like Rich shet um I think it brings more value to the offensive side of the ball and the defensive side of the ball so uh with him coming out then you have Jaylen Johnson probably going to play the four this year another guy who can create his own shot and we don’t know if uh R Shay can um he can um we don’t know if he can create his shots yet we know he’s a catch and shoot guy but he does have a solid jump shot that can only get better and uh we’ll see how it plays out but zachar ret is the Atlanta Hawks number one pick in the 2024 draft please tell me what y’all think man drop those comments let’s debate this half fun man y’all know we doing on the sports machines boy an SM Smith signing off I will holl at y’all later man peace
