we’ll get to once the Bulls do what they do this is the most nerve-racking I have been for a draft since we had number four in pick Patrick Williams didn’t love that pick when it happened I’m sorry don’t love it now I’m sorry my the phone is going off because um there’s some information about the next pick and as we Chicagoans everybody in the Chicago land area likes to support each other we all one big family but um there was some chaos before Cody Williams yes we saw rham get drafted and if y’all had a shot of us when that happened we were like whoa what is going on because of course you take safan castle at number four it would have been weird for them to take another point guard but instead they flip it to go to the trail blade I’m sorry for the timber wolves um for a future first round pick and another swap how y feel protected protected crazy I think the Spurs really uh I’m far into my 30s I think they cooked I think I think they cooked in with the young called fleece the Timberwolves because the reason I say that is because I think the Spurs didn’t see anything that they wanted which is why they traded out and they had already got their guy and then like Derrick said you got a two 2030 first round pick unprotected I don’t know what the terminal going to look like by the end and then you had also got a protected 2029 pick or something like that I think so you get two first round picks essentially for Rob Dillingham who’s going to go to the Timberwolves and come off their bench yeah I mean I’m just looking at him as like a nice score Off the Bench as a nice little six-man over there and I think that’s perfect role for him to come in as a rookie and go into that transition to that perfectly maybe he could be Mike Conley’s replacement as he Contin that’s probably what they’re thinking yeah yeah um it’s a it’s a combination of a lot of pressure and no pressure right because it’s a lot of pressure cuz Minnesota’s a team that’s trying to compete every sing season after their run but it’s kind of no pressure because you got Anthony Edwards you still have carony towns R to go beer you’re not going to be asked if you’re Rob dillam and coming off the bench that’s kind of why I see it as no pressure y the aura of that back I just love the fact that he’s going into a situation that’s going to allow him to be him I think the most important thing and probably what is making clutch and Rich Paul happy is he’s going to be able to be him when you’re a guy like him as electrifying and looking to score with want the ball in your hands you don’t really want to go anywhere where they take the power away for that and try to mold you into something that you’re not hopefully Minnesota is knowing what they’re getting in it will allow him to be that and I think that’s the best part of that trade um we also saw the Hornets take to John salon salon so like it’s a lot of stuff going on Zack Edy went nine to the Grizzlies the Grizzlies said we leaving here with some sides we don’t care I’m actually not even fan of that really I just don’t think Zack Ed is like their mode of Center that they need like I feel like he’s very slow footed he’s not very but you also had jiren and I feel like Zack St Adam wasn’t some he wasn’t some n feel like he also was more mobile he wasn’t crazy mobile but he was he that also Zack e one of those dudes that in college they gave him the ball and let him pound pound for six dribbles he’s not going to be able to do that in Memphis so I’m curious to see what his role would be on off the side of the ball I just think that they they got a guy that they saw fit with a need um they’re a team that what’s their hole that position so they went and tried to fill it resigned so they couldn’t go pursue him they weren’t able to get clinging cuz the deal didn’t go through that’s all the big fly this we knew this was going to be the type of jab where teams are going to reach for the players that they want and I I’m agreeing with y’all he probably don’t got to play you know above 20 minutes a game or anything like that you know when you do need that time for you need a guy or a big that can switch jiren you back at the five right now yeah I I like it versatility in the lineups but they gonna come in next year and they’re gonna be looking to get right back into the mix right back in that Westt Conference playoff mix um here we see the Chicago Bulls pick is in he got the tears going already I mean that’s the little to get drafted at is coming home baby we going golfing little bro that in the aronis carne SAS era of the five draft picks he’s made two of them have been Chicago shout out to I I Lon City man I don’t blame him I mean if Chicago produces Talent man the guys there from Chicago might as well bring him in shout out to um my little bro just had a a tournament the offseason tournament at Riverside Brookfield his brother was playing in it so you just show he pulled up it just showed you how much he loved being home and then now I see him crying and he’s going to the Bulls and the phone is blowing up and I’m sure his phone blowing up which is why he already crying before they announced the pick I could imagine him getting drafted to play for Chicago I know right I would like I would probably be crying too I would man if I can draft to anybody I’m crying honest but for Chicago like home is different you around your big beefs and deep dish pizza and leave him behind he St with you yeah everybody ain’t got Italian Beast have we have we told the story of the golf and stuff no right no we interviewed a bunch of different prospects uh at the draft combine and Modis buellis somehow we ended up talking about golfing he was mentioning that was one of his things in his Pas time we showed him our individual golf swings as we’re starting get you showed him you showed him me and D and you show him your best wing it is what it is also the dude that took lessons yep you got to be smart with it I’m not going to jump into a new hobby without being good at it uh and we played golf before we came here this guy broke my driver he did he he literally broke my there it is the selection is in mod welcome home yes sir this is a beautiful pic man I love it man I’m so happy for the ball I love it I was I didn’t know who was going to be here I was kind of setting myself up to maybe reach if you will for another big because the vich era has not been as amazing as I wanted it to be little did I know that the guy that was literally number one on my big board for the bull specifically not for the entire draft would be here at number 11 he wanted to come he said he wanted to come back on the show and do a real lengthy episode so now now it’s you come you can come do half the season here brother you could be the the fifth member it was him or Cody Williams me as on my big board to come to Chicago it was Donovan Clingan for me uh mod zealous or Wing um I just felt like if the Bulls were able to walk away with in this draft with Donovan kingan that would have been crazy for them that would have been the vich replacement V would have been traded no no Donovan clean is not a guy that’s going to come into the league and play 30 plus minutes he only played 22 minutes a game last year for Yukon um he’s had foot problems and different things like that so you want to ease him in there but he would have definitely been working his way into becoming that full-blown replacement for sure but we got Le bro back to the crit this is crazy man how many times in our life we we going to see a Chicago and get drafted by the Bulls as long as arunas car show was in charge every other year but even before him we were seeing D Rose came back to The Dig he’s the greatest so now is this they signed Jabari what’s the most Bulls players that they’ve had on a roster that’s been from Chicago cuz right now we got Javon IO now that’s probably it I’m be honest with you the I think that’s probably it cuz in dere Rose’s era I can’t think of it being more than one other person um who’s the one other person no I can’t think of anything he just saying if not more than so this is this is it man this is how you build a team I guess I mean obviously the Bulls made a trade about last week to bring in Josh giddy yes um and we’re not thinking about fit for Josh giddy as of right now considering it looked like we’re going for accumulating Talent man accent this guy could have been the first overall pick if his jump shot failed the G so him being here at number 11 is dope they’re they go to Bulls in their War Room looking really not as excited as they should they look like they look like oh well well took yeah here it is all right I I kind of like it man I think this gives the Bulls that opportunity to play a little fast play a little with a little bit more Tempo play Young I’m I’m very excited for the future because you can go IO Cody Josh giddy Matas at the four and then you can go Vu at the five y’all can Williams not coming back Patrick Williams you said Cody you said Robert all over said Cody Patrick Williams I mean he was coming off the bench for a portion of the year with the bulls but he he could still start if and Patrick Williams don’t start we might as well don’t match whenever he gets off for sure I think Patrick Williams isri probably going to start yeah I think he’s your four um I think you got Maus playing the three um I think Jos giddy’s probably gonna play the three so who’s the back court it’s gonna be I and Cody I don’t know why I keep say I is your starter not Z Jos was gonna start at point guard kobby will be the off guard it will be modest and this is assuming rebuild obviously Z stand on his team fellas Zack LaVine is your shooting guard Kobe white is your point Josh giddy is your point forward and then you got Pat and vich and modest bu I was mentally preparing for a new era I I was so excited about
