  1. Solid A, I’m liking everything, the core pick, the flexibility and leverage for present and future with the second first, and the second rounders have real upside and have high feel of the game with a pass minded gameplay, the future of la roja who played and fitted with adults seamlessly to win the gold and a great hustle motor guy who shares a chess passion with Victor, I am confident they will be in good hands

A fine draft given our stashed assets.

I trust in our FO who historically is the best org in the NBA

    B+

Castle himself is an a. It’s a great selection for the Spurs. They didn’t overthink it and they took the obvious selection for them

The number eight trade isn’t something I necessarily like by itself cuz I am not a fan of trading for future draft picks. But all in all I think the value they got is better than people give it credit for. The grade itself could end up being much higher down the road depending on if they make a trade with those pics. For now, I’ll give it a B minus simply because how good this trade ends up being comes down to Future moves that we just don’t know if they’re going to happen yet or not

I’m a fan of Nunes. Spurs fans are going to love his incredible passing arsenal. I had him as a first round pic. I give this pic a B+.

There were guys I liked better at this range than Ingram. With that said, the Spurs front office apparently is in love with him. He’s extremely versatile and can do a bit of everything. I don’t trust his jump shot completely or I’d be higher on him. But I do think he’s going to be a much better passer than people think. I’d give this pic a B

    I’m pretty happy with it.

I was high on Castle (probably 2nd only to Risacher), so very happy with that outcome. His floor is probably still as a starter or high level rotation piece for us just based on his defence (as long as it translates), and his ceiling is one of the highest in the draft.

I personally am happy with the trade of pick 8 for future assets. This was a weak draft, and I don’t think anyone available there would’ve been a game changer for us, and probably also not worth the usual value it takes to trade for an unprotected first and a swap that far out. I was not high on Dillingham, so not concerned about losing him – even if he becomes really good offensively, unless he is elite he will always be a liability in the playoffs. However, I do wonder whether we could’ve just gone a safer pick like Carter or Knecht to just be decent rotation players – but also neither have the type of ceiling that we should be prioritising given our long term aims.

And I like the sound of both Nunez and Ingram, but like most 2nd round picks, will be surprised if either crack the rotation anytime soon. Let’s just see what happens – but if one of those two or Cidy become s good piece, then overall that’s a decent return from the last 2 second rounds

    I dunno, like a C+.

The only thing not making this a D or an F is the fact that those 2 Minnesota picks could be extremely valuable given their cap situation and that Ant might not be there in 5+ seasons.

Love the castle pick. I would rather have kept the 8th pick instead of trading it. But I’m sure they will use it to trade for someone in the near future.

    A-

Castle is porobably the only prospect I was fine with it. I underline fine because I incredibly hated this Draft Class, I was fine with Dillingham, but I am happier that we traded him away. Personally I’m a bit bummed of the return, I wish we got another Swap more, maybe by giving them something like some 2nds or filler. I’m fine with Nunez and Ingram and honestly and I like them more than Wesley and Branham already, the ones I would have tried to give to the Wolves with some 2nds for that additional Swap. I’m good.

my cash considerations jersey is aging beautifully

  9. regularrob92

    As of now, B+

If we swap those picks + some other assets for a strong running mate for Wemby, I’ll give it an A+

    A-/B+

    I was hoping we’d somehow get Risacher/Sarr and Sheppard/Castle.

Past that, I was hoping for Castle/Salaun.

The MN trade was good, but I was hoping for more players.

Love the Nunez pick. I have no opinion on Ingram, just glad he’s not Brandon.

  11. nakedsamurai

Castle was great. Best player in the draft.

The trade at 8 is okay.

The second round was a wreck.

  12. sugarfreelime

First pick A. Everything after then: A with SS

  13. Joethetoolguy

C+ unless they do something with all the picks we have. Wemby cant compete with a squad of theoretical players. Grade goes down if dillingham ends up a star.

  14. mberk24

Solid draft… keep repeating those results and it’s going to be a good run
