I think Jon Horst and the Bucks have a type of player they’re trying to swing for.
Tyler Smith: Ranked by ESPN as the No. 8 player in the 2023 high school class and a consensus five-star recruit.
Chris Livingston: Livingston was a consensus five-star recruit and one of the top players in the 2022 class, according to major recruiting services. He was also a McDonald’s all American.
AJ Johnson: Johnson was a five-star recruit who decided to go overseas instead of Texas. He's a big-time talent who is smooth but a ways away.

I’m honestly feeling pretty decent about our young core after the last 2 days.
Yup. We have like 2 picks total the next 4 years. Gotta take big swings. I’m into it.
Also I’m higher on Livingston than a lot of people. Think he could be a future 15/7 guy and our 3 of the future.
This that shit I like to see, nice and big
I can’t wait for the summer league. Never have been this excited for one
Bucks getting younger. Exactly what people were saying they needed…
Haven’t been this excited for a draft since David Noel. Tells you all you need to know about my knowledge
Good thing “star ratings” matter in the NBA 🙄
Now this is a good pick.
Collier was on the board when they took Johnson. Wasn’t Collier the #1 recruit in his class?
If a player is a 5 star recruit, and doesn’t light up college or any other league before the NBA, he’s more than likely trending the wrong way. Lmao it’s just outrageous how many NBA fans look at potential over anything else. What exactly has Livingston done in the league so far?
You’re all like a golfer trying to hit a 40 yard cut around trees onto the green instead of chipping back out into the fairway.
The bucks not taking anyone with size that could realistically play the 4/5 in the next few years is so confusing. Who is the guy we took out of Vegas a few years ago that never saw an nba floor? This feels like that.
