Guess we got our answer if LeBron was coming back, lol.

  2. TheSmokedSalmon420

This is fun but also kinda embarrassing lol

Will be a cool moment when it happens – shoulda happened here but LeBron loves his Miami/LA lifestyle

  3. SpiderJedi22

Don’t care if it makes people mad, this is cool af.

  4. I would think this is cool if he made it on his own merrit. He only made it because of his dad and imo that’s really pathetic. I would be embarrassed if I got a job because of my parents. A slap in the face to people who worked really hard

  5. East_Bed1194

Drafting him over McCullar and Bridges is pathetic.

Honestly, good for them. Happy LBJ gets to play with and mentor his son in the league before he hangs it up. Guy is the GOAT and brought us more amazing sports moments than I’ll ever be able to recount. Never gonna like the Lakers, but will always love LeBron.

He’s a second round pick. There’s a chance the player they wouldve picked could have ended up a career g leaguer. Why not draft your players son instead

  8. tastybizkitz

If you told an NBA GM the 55th pick would get you 1-2 years of great NBA production they would all draft them in a heartbeat it’s just ironic the actual drafted player won’t be the one producing.

This is a cool story that has never happened before and will probably never happen again. Wish it were here, but I’m happy for the James family.

The Lakers are so fucking desperate to keep LeBron. They know they have nothing else.

  11. TheTrollisStrong

I hate all the salty people who would be loving this pick or LeBron was here and the Cavs drafted him

  12. EnemySoil

GL. Let’s see what happens when LBJ finally retires lol

  13. It’s crazy and I don’t like it, but if I had the leverage to get my son paid and into the league, I’d damn sure do it too. I guess it’s not that different from us taking Isaiah or Bucks taking Thanasis.

At the end of next year they try to trade Bronny and whatever white perimeter shooter they have plus a couple picks for an all star.

  15. good luck bronny. you got your shot. cya in summer league.

people, the odds of making it in the nba as even a roster piece are tiny at the bottom of 2nd round. 99% whomever you draft down here never plays 10 mins in the league. not a big deal.

  16. SharpMind94

His son is never going to get out of the shadow

  17. Happy for them both, excited to see how it plays out. Got nothing but love for Bron

Never thought I’d say this, but I’m ready for Dillon Brooks to sit this kid on his ass and then just laugh at LeBron.

This shit is TOP LEVEL CRINGE. Like wow. Tattoo CHOSEN ONE definitely shining now.

I wanna play with my son
Nope. Whatever he does is cool. He has his own path
Just kidding. No one touch my son. Hes mine.

Lmao wtf. So high up on that pedestal of his, I’m ready for him to retire.

  19. PepsiRacer4

There’s so much weirdo behavior about this, why does anyone care? Especially since we didn’t spend a pick on him

  20. GreppMichaels

I don’t blame Lebron for pulling these strings to get him signed. But is this going to be the best situation for him developmentally?

And is Lebron going to push for him to get playing time over other players? I think that’s the major question. Will he actually try to get him on the court, and is he going to force the ball to him. I know that sounds silly, but like how far does this go?

If he treats it like hey, I’ve opened the door, but now you have to earn it. Awesome. Historically you have Lebron genuinely wanting to play with the right people, and putting them in a position to succeed when they aren’t “star guys”. He’s been a god send to guys, bringing in JR, or helping guys really shine I mean look at the contract Delly got or Mozgov.

So you gotta ask yourself, is he going to hold him accountable like his other role players? Can he be professional?

We shall see. All I know is, the media is going to love this and it’ll be annoying.

  21. I love how LeBron and Rich Paul basically held the Lakers hostage to get his kid drafted. What a joke.

  22. KiloWatson

Bronny will “retire” when his old man retires.

  23. Forty_Six_and_Two

I’m happy for them both. That team is still going to suck, though.
