  2. There’s nepotism in the Knicks currently 🤣🤣🤣

  3. Himmothy314

I mean, look no further than our front office lol

  4. PG_993s

At the end of the day it’s the 55th pick. It would be pretty cool to see a father and son play on the same team.

  5. Splittinghairs7

lol woj trying hard to gain sources with klutch so he can own shams.

  7. angryshoper

Woj knows that shams is the lakers go to guy.. he trying to fit in again

  8. Eric_T_Meraki

No lies. This is just how the world works in general. Literally, not what you know, but who you know.

  9. AirBishop

If you’re upset at a fucking 55th pick you’re just unhappy and want something to be mad at

  10. PurplePaws619

Stephen Curry, KlayThompson, Jalen Brunson, Brent Berry, Sabonis, Kobe Bryant, Tim Hardaway, Jerami Grant, Gary Payton II, Larry Nance Jr, Cole Anthony, Al Horford, Andrew Wiggins, Luke Walton

There are A LOT more that didn’t work out, this is all hype because it’s Lebron’s kid. Remember when we drafted Shaq’s kid?

  11. jurassic_snark-

Thanks Woj but still not forgiven for the Hurley bullshit

  12. SagalaUso

Just let Bronny alley op his dad once and we’re good.

  13. goatnxtinline

sure, nepotism that he was steered towards being drafted by the lakers. But I don’t give a damn who his father is, if he can’t play then he can’t play and no one is drafting him.

  14. Dagenius1

I really didn’t expect him to say this is the only story here.

  15. La2philly

Woj – I was unfamiliar with your game

  16. bashsports

I always tell my Dad it’s his fault I’m not in the NBA

    Cry harder woj

  18. peezy2408

Damn woj, just calling me out like that

  19. Changnesia102

It’s rampant in any industry when big money is involved. We all have that one trust fund friend that didn’t work for shit.

  20. cheaseedz

I just wanna say Bronny at the combine looked fantastic, if he worked out for each of those teams, he maybe have gone early in the 2nd round. But he genuinely didn’t want to go to those other teams and be a potential development piece.

  21. Corona2789

I don’t really care that we threw away a late second. I think it’s more so a combo of LeBron and Paul being so controlling of the front office in an era where the front office has been brutally incompetent, then things becomes obnoxious. From the Westbrook trade, failing to get Hurley, to the Reddick hire, lebrons passive aggressive behavior off the court and now drafting Bronny after telling teams if they draft him he’s going to Australia lol. If none of that other shit happens or the lakers are winning nobody cares about this.

  22. classacts99

Nepotism is part of corporate America, nba no different. It is what it is.

  23. et3rnul

I don’t care as a Laker fan that we drafted him. I don’t know who else we could’ve drafted. I really hope he succeeds and has a solid NBA career and it is very cool to see him get to play with his dad.

Mentally I hope he is ok. Kid literally almost died, has sky high expectation since he started playing, and out the gate everyone is questioning whether he deserves to be there.

  24. Fuck Woj, Laker Nation will always hate you.

  25. YouHadMeAtTaco

    Most egregious example, Klejin Blevins.

  26. Ok. Maybe. But Bronny sucks. Tim Hardaway Jr was actually touted and is leaps and bounds better than Bronny. Stop caressing Brons nuts Woj

  27. augustcero

i mean no disrespect but who else we gonna pick at 55? this class is quite ass already so no regrets

  28. When I saw the picture here, I questioned if Thomas Bryant and Mamba were related for a second

  29. ToraLoco

it’s the 55th pick lol, it’s not like they’re giving up some stars. Who knows, what if Bronny becomes a Derrick White type of player? Can you guys even name a 55th pick player?

  30. So-_-It-_-Goes

He isn’t wrong but the national coverage is getting to be a bit much

  31. shortyman920

Luka’s brother got a front office position when he was drafted even though he has zero qualifications.

    Thanasis

    Knicks and Leon Rose

    Austin rivers

NBA is a business and nepotism runs rampant in any industry

Porzingas has his brother on the payroll as his personal trainer even though there were far better trainers available

Knicks signed JR Smith’s brother to their Gleague team

Half the list I just rolled off the top of my head are Knicks related, but anyway there’s nepotism all over. Media is just playing up this one
