[Slater] The Warriors traded cash to reacquire the 52nd pick and drafted Quinten Post, per source. That officially hard caps the Warriors at the second apron. They are now unable to go over it this season (which was the plan regardless).

Okay, okay.
Let mdj cook
A 7 FOOTER ON MY BASKETBALL TEAM AM I DREAMING
Someone smarter than me please tell me what this implies regarding trades and free agency now
In other words this essentially ensures we have players on the move? Am I correct in this assessment?
Finally a 7 footer šš
And with that, all eyes turn to what they do with CP3ās contract.
If heās able to maintain his 3P% and increase his per game attempts volume closer to 4-5 (ideally 5) to become a spacing threat that would be ideal, if not necessary. He was hella efficient his 4th and 5th years at BC going 42.6% and 43.1% from 3, respectively, but it was on just 2.8 and 3.3 attempts per game aka same as Draymond this past season. Weād for sure take him knocking down open ones if he remains at low volume and doesnāt force defenses out to the perimeter, but developing into a 5-out big that can space the floor because heās a volume threat, as well, is hopefully the ultimate goal.
I need a capologist to explain this to me in terms of contracts and how it impacts potential moves ASAP
We got a tall European!!!
I’ve no opinion on him, but he’s big, so yeah.

ā¦I donāt know how to feel, but Iāll take it!

So does that mean we could stay under the 2nd Apron by like 1 dollar?
Ofc highlight reels edit out all the negatives, but he is a 7 footer who seems to be an inside and outside scorer. How does someone like that fall so far? What’s the catch?
7ft benchwarmer because Kerr got guard and short king fetish. Watch him roll out 4 guard lineups on Team USA.
Path from here is simple, get rid of Klay, get rid of CP3, get under luxury tax.
How does this impact their ability to do the rumored sign and trade with PG13?
Looks like MDJ did a good job of addressing needs with a 7-foot stretch-5 in Post, a good shooting wing in Waters, and an excellent defender PG in Beekman, considering they only had the 52nd pick. It remains to be seen how much they will play and contribute next season. Summer league could be interesting.
I thought Lacob said he wanted to not pay luxury tax anymore. Is this second apron stuff related to that and he’ll be paying tax for this season?
Can he dunk from the free throw line?
But the Knicks seem to have that unlimited money glitch tho
