R Howen a 50 to1 long shot to be taken in the top five of the NBA draft 50 to one now they never talked to him brillan I gotta say this not it doesn’t I was gonna say I was gonna say Tran langon better get this right it doesn’t matter the one thing about this is it feels like Tran langon right off the his first impression to me as a Pistons fan is I’m the smartest guy in the room to be a 50 to1 long shot to be a top five pick not on anybody else’s radar I’m the smartest guy in the room we’re going to take this kid 18 years old now not to say his kid’s a bad I don’t know this player from Adam uh but he’s 18 years old 29 games uh ruptured tendon can’t shoot going to work on the shooting though but nonetheless I just keep going back to that 50 to one to be a top five pick in the NBA draft uh you know what I took a different approach now I was looking at like this we asked Tim Mack on the show yesterday who was he liking at was this typically a horrible draft like everybody said it was in his words it’s not the best draft ever but there are a couple players if you do your scouting if you do your homework if you really feel confident in the guy and what you bring to the table 50 to1 odds you know what’s funny there’s another team downtown Detroit that their GM takes similar paths he does not draft the guy that’s most likely going to get drafted I’m talking about Brad Holmes now Brad Holmes has gotten to write over some time so there’s a track record there so he deserves that credit it’s similar different situation but sometimes you got to take different approaches sometimes you can’t go by what everybody else says everybody says you should drave Donovan klingman or you should drave uh matelis or whatever his name was those were the two that were sent here year and year again you’re getting the pics that people have lined up for you the year before that it was assar Thompson year before that and so on and so on and so on [Music]

Team full of guys who can't shoot. Holland would have went 6th. Jaylen Brown was the exact same player coming into the NBA. Learn something

"Not on any bodies radar." Dude was the number one player in his draft class. Clearly Ryan has zero idea about the prospect so why make suck bold statements?
