To be fair… the Magic don’t need any 2nd-round developmental projects for a while. Team is still developing the recent 1st round picks like Anthony Black & Jett Howard.
Magic are super young, and outside the Oklahoma City Thunder, the youngest team ahead of schedule. Magic are going to have to drop a Brinks Truck of cash for Paolo Banchero soon, I’m sure they’re working on the Franz Wagner extension as soon as the next season starts, and adding players isn’t their priority… staying cap friendly to retain current roster appears to be their priority… which is a great thing.
I’m looking forward to the next few seasons and think Magic will remain in championship contention over the next 5 seasons.
