Charlotte is very interested in the youngest player in this draft after the pick here was Jeff Peterson sold on their guy and saying that their guy was toan Salon all along can’t tell you guys how excited I am that we got tan he’s uh he’s the guy who we had organizational alignment and conviction in uh from the very beginning and you guys heard what uh what Charles was saying yesterday we want guys who give it an effort night in night out guys who compete um he’s the youngest player in the draft a ton of upside Great Frame uh I was fortunate I got to go to Europe a couple times this season to see him and spend some time with him he’s an amazing amazing human being and I know he’s going to uh you know do everything in his control to maximize himself this shouldn’t be a shock Charles Lee when he was introduced a couple of days ago when Charles Lee was initially the pick Celtics assistant what are the strengths that Charles Lee had this is going to be a developmental staff development is the strength of this staff this was Charles Lee’s calling card so you of so of course they’re not deterred by a guy who’s 18 years old the youngest player drafted last night of course they’re not worried about that they sought it out sought out perhaps the rawest prospect that’s out there this is a description I got from a scout close to the Hornets about Salon last night all caps love them got to be patient you hired a big time development staff with Charles love the pick positional size shows glimpses of being able to do everything plays hard as F just my personal opinion it seems the Hornets agree with that as well development is the calling card of Charles Lee’s staff give him something that he can mold give him some clay that he can mold and at 6’9 6′ 10 and some shooting ability and athleticism Sean Salan certainly has a lot of those physical tools and that’s enough reason to give Charlotte the benefit of the doubt here we can’t or you shouldn’t hire a new coach and GM and say this is the top GM on the market this is the top GM you could hire and then the first draft pick he makes says nah he doesn’t know what he’s doing no well this is why you hire this guy Let’s see we have no reason to believe he doesn’t know what he’s doing yet and we do have a lot of people myself included being wrong just last year about a hornet selection when many wanted scoot Hornets took Tan Salon I’m sure this guy learned his lesson right I thought I was numb to this man bro we got the three pieces we got Brandon Miller we got Mark we got Melo Connect 4 was about to happen who the is TJ BJ man how would you say your mental is right now man man I work at the bank I thought my mental was low but no this is something different this is something different I hope this
