Looking forward to the summer. This kid is going to surprise a lot of people. People are so focus on his size when a smaller player in Brunson destroyed the sixers in the playoffs.
I hope McCain develops and plays well but Brunson is stronger, a much better passer, ball handler and way more fundamentally sound. Brunson’s footwork and ability to play off both feet is what really makes him so tough to guard. I don’t think that’s a fair comparison at all.

I’ve been negative about this pick mostly for fit reasons, but I am rooting for the kid and hope he proves me wrong. His game is very aesthetically pleasing, especially the jumper. Hopefully them thunder thighs means he can hold up better on defense than his size will imply. Looking forward to Summer League!
