  1. Knew it. Whether KCP chooses us, is another story. He is a 2X champion after all. It depends where he’s at. If he wants to try to win another championship next season, or he wants a more laid back season with a bag and to chill out in SA with Wemby. His defense and shooting and experience could really help the development of our team a lot.

That would be an incredible get, but all else being equal, he’s going to want to go to a contender. And I don’t expect all else to be equal anyway – doubt we end up the highest bidder.

Would be a great addition to the starting lineup. Move Vassell at the 3, play KCP at the 2.

Looking unlikely that we land him though. Spurs are already timid with signing free agents that don’t have other teams clamoring for them, they’ll get outbid easily for KCP

Based on their recent move, I’d bet it’s a sign and trade with Dallas. But I would love him. Perfect fit.

Nothing says that if we got a few good FAs and with Wemby developing more, along with guys getting use to each other that we can’t be a playoff team next season. Great pickup if we get him

Please over pay him. $20-25M would be fine for 2-3 years. Come in and mentor Wemby and vassell on title winning ways, have him start as SF

  7. (Castle, KCP, Vassell, Sochan, Wemby) is intriguing

Man with the defensive upside that our rookies have and Kcp we can be a juggernaut.

I hope not,, I like him as a player but he is 31 and I would prefer we focus on developing our young players vs trying to win a few more with people like KCP especially because of how loaded the 2025 draft is. After 2025 draft I am all good for going after the big FAs, by then we have two years with Wemby and Castle will have a year under his belt and hopefully we get lucky in the draft with Atlanta and SA picks.

Plus so many teams are going to struggle with the Aprons and will look to trade players for second round picks, if we are patient we can get one

Do you really want to pay KCP 30 million dollars or some ridiculous thing?

“He helped Denver reach the 2024 West Finals” great reporting as usual from Jeff Garcia.

He’d be a huge upgrade over Champagnie that’s for sure. I dont think he’ll become a Spur though
