So why the minus? What could we have done better?

I’m not upset at this at all, but it makes me wonder what would have made this an A or A+ grade.
In a non-obvious draft we managed to pull off the early leader at #1 without any trades, we bought into another pick with a trade that is frankly selling high to get a sleeper pick with fantastic upside, and a third pick that landed inside his top 15.
The only way I see is doing better is if we fleeced the blazers in the trade. Which, fair enough. I’m just curious.
