[No Ceilings NBA] Corey Tulaba: I got to see him (AJ Johnson) in high school. I saw him play live at the Iverson classic game, which had a lot of the guys in the class… Rob Dillingham, Steph Castle, a bunch of guys at the top. He was by far the best player on the court and it wasn’t even close.

Here’s what he had to say about him at the combine:
> He was one of the breakout players in these combine games he has this athleticism, he was really quick, he made some really intriguing passes, he made shots. He was pretty excellent as a defender.
Tulaba is someone who’s been following Johnson’s game since high school and said he ALWAYS maintained a first round grade on him throughout the draft process.
All this tells me is that he had a really good workout with us and it’s what made Horst draft him
