all right well the defending champs the Boston Celtics have selected Baylor shyan as their 30th pick in the NBA draft shyan out of kraton good Wing player 66 good size but known for his shooting ability which all of us have liked here today we I feel like we give a lot of love to Shooters on this show KP overall thoughts listen I love that he has been so patient throughout the entire draft process this is a player who has tested the NBA Waters the pre-draft process two years now a fifth year senior he’s taken the feedback from teams and it’s paid off he’s a first round pick and he’s going to a championship team as a shooter and when we saw him at the NBA draft combine he was by far the best shooter on the court in the five on five scrimmages and made a very strong statement to everyone there watching that no I can play in the NBA my game translat I listen to your feedback and I’m ready to go a mature player he’ll be 25 by the time the draft but by the time he’s you know on the team yeah stting next season he’s going to be you know 24 years old and when you talk about fit I mean perfect landing spot for him he is one of the best three-point Shooters in the draft landed with the team that was most high volume three-point shooting champion in NBA history so they like to play that five out system he’s going to love playing in Joe missoula’s system the skill is not enough to play for Boston you have to be smart the IQ has to be there Joe moula gives them a lot of freedom it’s a read and react offense in a lot of ways they’ll play five out even if they dip one person in you’re reading you’re reading off the dribble reading off the drives and he can do that so no press could Boston have made a bad pick like really I mean the champs as long as they return their their main core cast of characters they should be the favorites going into next season bad news for rest of the league they added another they added another shooter to their roster but a huge congratulations to Baylor Sharman on going 30th with the Celtics
