  1. Well then trade is cooked. Trading Kuminga at 21 for 34 year old bad hammy PG. Could be a historic L. We seen how the shai trade turned out. NOT SAYING he’s gonna be shai, just an example

  2. slavicmaelstroms

Throw Moody in there since he has no role

  3. This is going to be a tough choice, but we’re in win now situation, whatever’s best for Curry and for the team

  4. therealgamingcat

No one’s eager but something’s gonna give

  5. BobRoss4Life

I too wouldn’t be too excited about a pivot from PG to Wiggins and/or CP3

Don’t think Moody will be enough of a sweetener, and I doubt the Dubs want to offer Podz or even TJD. Can throw picks, but I assume the Clippers would want a lot depending on the type of salary the Warriors kick their way

  6. Lol even if we have a respectable offer, no one would help us

We have a promising young player (kuminga) we dont want to let go, the rest of trade pieces are just mediocre and the picks are only worth it to send if we get someone better

So it’s moot, we dont want to give everything, they want everything

It’s always gonna happen anyway. Unless we agree to someone lesser than PG like say Lavine, it’ll take picks to get him too. Is it worth it? Dunno. I just know it’ll probably be a disappointing offseason again

  7. feelnoways2020

    Stalemate.

That being said, you got to go for the best possible situation for Steph, whatever that may be

  8. Waste the rest of Stephs prime or hang into potential… tough choice

  9. ImTheBestNerd

Pay PG his money or except a poo poo platter trade. They don’t have the leverage to demand a haul.

  10. IJustReadEverything

Posturing on both sides. It’s really up to PG to force the issue.

  11. RidiculousNickk

Well then PG leaves for nothing so good luck

  12. dolphingarden

Kuminga basically doesn’t fit with any Draymond lineup. Send that dude to outer space.

  13. InevitableBudget510

What about draft picks? 3 way trade?

  14. lets say we get pg without including kuminga, how tf the warriors going to afford steph (max) pg (max) + dray (20m+) + kuminga (30-40m extension next year)??

  15. Letronika

    Lmao.

Wtf are the Clippers even doing? They don’t want PG, Westbrook is now on the table, and they don’t have any legit draft picks until 2030.

PG either stays or just needs to force the issue if he really wants to be a Warrior.

  16. Sokkawater10

Give Podziemski. Clippers need value too and Podz is an upcoming young player but who doesn’t really fit in a backcourt with Steph (too small) but clippers could use him

  17. WisdomCow

A lot of comments say no one wants to help the dynasty. I disagree.

The league and advertising want the Warriors to make deep playoff runs. The drop in viewership for the playoffs has been dramatic without Curry or LeBron. Silver will lean on Balmer to accept a deal that is not ridiculous. Wiggins age makes the move palatable, assuming PG gets his 4 year max (which he is not worth).

To add Kuminga for a player that can simply leave LA with nothing would be such a massive overpay and gut our bench, t’boot.

  18. Jtizzle1231

Well then go after some one else. Durant maybe or LaVine

  19. Patchhead

Here’s hoping that the Ws use the good sense of their Jerry West era and don’t spend a young star on an over the hill 2nd tier former all-star.

  20. neo9027581673

    An old-fashion stalemate.

  21. How do you guys always expect the other team to trade with the warriors if they don’t give up anything of value? It’s ridiculous lol.

Btw it is highly unlikely that kuminga is ever going to contribute to a deep playoff run as the top 1 or 2 guy. So you guys can foolishly turn your noses up at steph Curry plus paul george as your 1 and 2 while fantasizing about a kuminga led title run. I’d rather trust steph but I realize that’s a bit too much to ask for you warriors “fans”.

  22. neo9027581673

Trading Kuminga for an old ass PG is stupid on the simple fact that OTHER TEAMS (with OTHER PACKAGES) are out there.

Would much rather deal with another team than the paper clips.

  23. Hereforspeakers

If Paul wants to come he needs to flex with Clippers.

  24. Top5hottest

Sounds like Houston could make a better offer.. but I would think PG would have some say in it. I dont think they will move him. He is an LA guy.

  25. Redditforever12

if i am clippers, and the only thing i get is wiggins/cp3 i would demand future FRPS. I take 3-4 FRPs

  26. Spaghettiisgoddog

No shit. But what if wigs is a Ricky Rubio? If he’s amazing on team Canada it could increase his value in the market. Too bad we took the less risky approach

  27. TrafficOn405

See what it would take to Alperin Sengun from Houston, or Lauri Markennen from Utah. Get younger with frontcourt players. PG is 34.

  28. dvasquez93

What if we sprinkle on a lightly used Moses Moody?

  29. HamsterCapable4118

Much will depend on whether Kuminga even wants to stay. After being dicked around my Kerr all year, he may be done with the organization.

It makes sense to unload JK if Kerr continues to have him ride the bench again.

  30. bucketjunky

Why the ever living fuck would we give jk for pg. Jk is like pg pre injury

  31. rebrando23

I think I’d leave the fanbase if they trade Kuminga for PG

  32. bypassmorecomments

PG is leaving next year anyway, either they take what they can get or fuck off lol

  33. The_Skyro

Clippers fan here. No way the clippers would take back Wiggins. We are here because of second apron. Unless it’s kuminga or maybe podz and moody, better to just let him go

  34. bucketjunky

Steph is the only reason a casual fan watches basketball. Maybe this season steph will get foul calls.

Seeing Austin no talent reeves live at ft line drives me insane.

Steph would average 35 ppg if he got a normal whistle and 40 to 45 ppg if he got an all star whistle

  35. AdComprehensive7879

but he has a player option right? so he technically can be out and clippers will have nothing?

  36. redjer12345

Clippers fan here, No Kuminga no deal. I do think the Clippers is very well prepared on PG leaving since they will prob sign and trade the guy to a guy like Derozan for example, Warriors cannot get PG now if he opts out so goodluck also. PG’s best choice for him is to opt in and trade to a west coast team which is close to home.

  37. CodyCryBabies69

lol PG13 walks, Westbrick is gone, and Harden prob gone as well. Have fun rebuilding for another 20 years you bums

  38. Sublimotion

It’s between gambling: the chances of Kuminga becoming a future star vs. the chances of PG3 being the x-factor in them becoming again as a serious contender.

I’m gonna bet leaning on the former. But contender or not, PG3 will definitely jump start more excitement for the fanbase and media, even if he becomes a terrible fit for their offense.

Rationally, I don’t see them getting PG3 without giving up Kuminga. Even aside from that, I really don’t see PG3 wanting to come to the bay over Philly.

  39. UnnamedStaplesDrone

I dont think we’re gonna trade Kuminga. We’re not gonna make any big moves because no one wants “When He Feels Like It” Wiggins and dusty ass CP3 who could barely bring the ball up the court. Why are we pretending like CP3 is some big trade chip, i don’t understand.

  40. AngryPoop

I 100% agree that putting Kuminga in the pot for Paul George is a bad move for the Warriors. But I also think it’s hilarious how much Warriors fans are overvaluing Kuminga.

Kuminga gets dunk highlights, he’s an above average man-to-man defender, and he’s half decent at rebounder when he wants to be. Conversely he has glaring weaknesses in his game that his strengths can’t make up for: he can’t create his own shot, can’t shoot the 3, he’s a mediocre team defender, barely understands how to play ‘smart’ team basketball. His game is based entirely on his athleticism, but he’s rarely the strongest or the fastest on the court, so athleticism can only take him so far. Unless he makes a significant jump next year Kuminga is never going to be anything more than a talented role player. He’s not untouchable.
