“Honestly, I’d be thrilled if I was a Hawks fan. Getting two 1sts and a top-10 pick that I think will turn into a really useful player is a good return. It sucks not to have your own picks, but they got back like 85% of the value they gave up to get Murray” – Sam Vecenie

    Hawks: “we want Reaves”

    Lakers: “no”

Hawks: “fine, we’ll take your pick instead”

We got a player that fits us better and two picks, forget about what we paid for him which was too much.

Give trae shooters and defenders. He’ll take care of the rest. I like the move.

As of right now its like 85% yeah

I’ll cross my fingers that Lakers fall behind in the arms race that is the West while the Hawks are able to play well enough in the East to be a top 8-9 seed since this conference has anywhere from 4-6 teams Cooper Flagging. Would love the Bulls and Raps to decide they need to do a bit of tanking lol

Honest question: knowing that we were getting Daniels and getting rid of DJ, would you rather have Sheppard than Risacher?

Personally I loved Sheppard. Had him as my #2 guy on my board (Risacher was 3 for me).

I’m not mad with our pick at all btw, but with DJ gone I think it could’ve opened up the possibility for Shep to fit our needs
