  1. Fine I guess. Just exists as salary filler for a potential trade.

  2. I think somethings about to happen. Dlo and Hayes opting in back to back??

  3. CockroachForeign6419

We legit have no roster spots we HAVE to make a trade bruh

  4. Justrocketeer

Great… but I’d feel a lot better with another center on the roster that’s a little bulkier to round out the rotation

  5. the whole team is staggering their option announcements for tonight apparently

Cam Reddish announced in 45 minutes, I guess

I actually like Hayes. I think he showed a ton of promise at the back end of the regular season. We still need a true C but he is definitely serviceable as additional C or PF depth.

I remember he was great against the Celtics in Boston. I also remember when he balled out in a regular season game against the Nuggets, even though we lost.

Christian wood is a fine backup PF. We cannot have Hayes as our only backup Centre. We cannot have a DLo and Reaves backcourt. Make a trade

  8. KingNephew

I actually don’t mind keeping and developing him as a 3rd string big. He’s still 24 and will be cheap.

  9. SnooRecipes6776

Not the greatest player but he’s an athletic lob threat and still young

  10. Oscar_322418

Fine 3rd stringer but not enough to serve as the primary backup to AD

  11. LebronsPinkyToe

sure why not, dont play him as drop and tell him to rebound

  12. AdvancedElephant

Please tell me he wasted no time to hit the gym and practicing on his rebounds

  13. Odd-Direction9452

Good to keep around. Has good rapport with JJ and can do worse than Hayes as a third big.

  14. brazyace43

Trade Hayes and Lewis for Duop Reath. Or Hayes and Lewis and some seconds for Dayron Sharpe.

Trade JHS and reddish for Corey Kispert

  15. needmoresleeep

I like this. Hayes played better toward the end of the season. He’s a decent backup center for 15 minutes a game.

  16. ControlAgent13

Surprised. I thought he and Cam would both leave.

He played well during stretches and learned not to foul constantly – a skill many bigs never master.

  17. Miserable-Lawyer-233

That’s what he said he was going to do.

  18. outsidehere

Work on rebounding. Defense is not there so just work on rebounding

  19. hellstarrecords

The guy is 24, we just drafted a 23 yr old… give him sometime and I think he can develop in to a solid back up center

  20. ControlForward5360

So who is traded Hayes or wood? More then likely they want a bigger back up center so one has to go

  21. driftwoodember

Hayes has great energy so look forward to seeing how/if he’s been developing in the off season

Hopefully we get a more reliable back up C though

  22. CabbageStockExchange

I like Hayes. Cheap and young big. Won’t be expected to be anything more than a third stringer (I hope)

  23. I mean for minimum, you can’t really hate this for depth and playing him depending on matchups. Also did show some definite improvement over his previous seasons.

  24. UglyForNoReason

I hope cam stays. No way this trash can stays and not cam lol
