[Music] YouTube Twitter what’s going on man it’s your boy King and dece we got a great show for you guys tonight of course the NBA draft is tomorrow so today we are going to address a few of those names that you may have heard out there a few of those names that you may seen in some of the rumor Mills out there as far as the young Talent um and the the young man that’s available uh for us to to draft if we do decide to keep that pick so Deuce what’s going on with you brother man first of all I’m trying to stay warm I’m trying to stay warm because I’m like burning up bro like I’m trying to like if I could just stay warm I ain’t got to be cool just just let me be warm for once and I’ll be okay aside from that I’m doing all right man it’s been um it’s been a crazy day as far as uh news and Twitter has been going absolutely wild so I need everybody to calm down take a deep breath um and we are going to get through this together it’s a lot that we have to sort through um a lot of good opinions I’m seeing um as far as what we should do what we shouldn’t do so we are going to get into all of it we are going to start though King with with the NBA draft which is tomorrow there’s a lot of information a lot of players we want to get to how are you feeling about the draft I know before you’ve just you’ve said a few times that you looking to trade that pick but assuming we don’t how are you feeling about going into tomorrow how you feeling about the draft process so far uh I’m gonna be honest you know this will be probably you know uh one of the the few drafts where I’m not necessarily excited I’m more intrigued to see what we do um to see what Langdon and the front office does when it comes to these young guys um who we can pick and and add to this team um obviously add to the talent that we have so with me it’s more of I’ve been in more of a observative type of State than excited like we got a chance to get this guy or that guy this with this draft the talent that’s available I feel like there’s a lot it’s a lot of players that could maybe possibly start eventually but right now you’re GNA see them first guys off the bench you know what I’m saying that type of talent that’s that’s what I’m seeing right now on this draft no guys like o ah he’s a starter day one he’s a piece of the core that’s not what I’m seeing with this draft so um right now add a solid piece that’s going to be around and actually contribute to what our team is doing right we talked about that before we both felt like um the top guys in this draft whether it’s Zachary r or whether it’s Alexandri sire they probably wouldn’t have gone one or two in previous drafts right this is not the strongest draft from what we can see so you know it’s not a it’s not a bad year to have the fifth pick you know what I mean when you want a higher pick this I was surprised I would have thought this would have been year we got number one just because it’s a we draft just know hard look but yeah so let’s get right into it bro let’s talk about a couple guys you had a couple guys on your radar who you thought we might have a chance to get we’re not going to talk about all the guys at the top of the draft that we don’t have any chance of getting because we’ll be here all night so all the guys that at the top is like alexand alexand sh Zachary Reay Reed Shepard you know all those guys are probably going to be gone by the time we get to that fifth pick so I am though curious bro to see um Tran lon’s activity level during this draft we know Troy Weaver historically was not afraid to trade up or trade to get back into the draft so I’m keeping my eye on that but I want to give you a chance bro to kind of kick it off because you had a couple guys you were talking about that you really wanted to hit on first so I’m going to give the 40 you start it off yeah uh first one obviously is Cody Williams right um offers what we can use simple and plain you know when you watch him on the film can shoot the three ball it’s athletic enough you know to cut in the lane get to the basket um pretty pretty nice size not the most you know stocky bill but pretty nice size right um you know I have him and another guy which is Zachary those are my two top guys Zachary magically fell um I did see a few Theory theories where he did fall to the Pistons surprisingly um but those are my two model builds right now we can’t get the the big guy that we wanted obviously um so next is a a lengthier wing uh forward type of guy man that can shoot the ball but at the same time uses athleticism to get to the basketball rim cuz into those Lanes um it’s pretty much what we hope assar Thomas can eventually become you know I said Thomas Thompson I’m sorry um but what he could become you know with a a serviceable jump shot the ability to cut to the rim he uses athleticism getting those Lanes do things right uh somebody that’s gonna come to the team and contribute those guys especially Cody Williams are the two guys that I was looking at um you know there’s other Talent obviously um we also have Mattis uh not yeah right not a not a shooter you know what I’m saying not shooter currently but ironically we did bring in the shooting coach right um and you know his mechanics when you look at his mechanics they’re not horrible they’re not horrible so I mean with the shooting coach that you have if something that you want to invest in me personally I’m tired of going that route we’ve already drafted like I just said Thompson who’s not a three-point shooter yeah K need spacing right so for me talk about that yeah that’s what I’m saying for me it’s like okay either we’re sitting here in the conferences and we’re saying that we need to get K some space in but then we go out and do something like this you know what I’m saying so they need to go and get someone who’s uh able to stretch the floor with some nice length and that’s able to move around without the basketball I like it I like it first of all shout out to everybody here man y’all are uh y’all are deep tonight pause we have a lot of people here what’s good Carl my brother from another for sure oh I did see real quick Carl said he is looking forward to making some Pistons H videos again we G to do that really soon in preparation for the season that’s coming for sure and yeah appreciate y’all showing up for showing out yeah so I definitely bro I I kind of want to take one of these these guys one at a time um because there’s a few of them that really stand out to me there’s about five guys I got on my list um that I’m looking at for tomorrow’s draft and a few of these guys may not be available but you know hopefully hopefully we can have somebody come to this team that can really help contribute so let’s start with Jonathan kingan or Donovan kingan not Jonathan Donovan kingan out of Yukon right right 20 years old 7 foot2 um 7 foot wingspan 7 fo5 wingspan 280 PBS Big Boy um National Champion playing for you know Coach Danny Hurley who was a hot name right around the league connected to the Lakers before they decided to go with JJ um but I like him so as far as his Pros he’s the best rim protector in this draft to me right he doesn’t go for pump fakes he stays down which makes sense because he’s 72 but when he does go up more times than not he’s going vertical and so that allows him to stay out of foul trouble right um he’s a good passer and not just because he’s not just for a size but he’s just a really good passer he’s a good rebounder too as well um got great vision very physical good screener um yeah he’s he’s a good player man he’s he’s a really good player good good at finding guys back doors and cuts and things like that as far as his conss um he’s not he’s not a great shooter like outside of 15 feet and he’s not a good free throw shooter right he shot 58% from free throw line last year and he shot 25% from three so the three-point percentage doesn’t really bother me as much you know with him being massive at 7’2 he’s going to be getting fouled a lot so his ability to knock down those free throws is going to be important to me and I kind of have a player count for all these guys the one that I have for him is something of a Roy Hibert type player but with more offense right more off Roy Hibert was a defensive monster right he was a big guy I remember when he played against uh the Heat in the playoffs he would give LeBron problems as he was going to the cup so I see him being that kind of a guy but with more offense better Vision better hands just just a better offensive player so I can see him going before uh our pick is available um the next guy I want to look at is Stefan Castle I have I’ve done a little bit of extensive research on some of these guys and he was one of them I like him because he obviously he played the same team you know with um Donovan k at Yukon so they’re both national champions but he’s 19 um 6’6 guard right 6’9 wingspan 210 lbs um his Pros are a great defender he can anticipate well right defensively he likes getting out in those passing Lanes which is something you always talk about right all talking about getting out the passing Lanes get out the passing Lan he does that um he can guard one two three he can guard some fours um so like with Cody Williams in a similar which we’ll get to like Cody Williams I love his versatility defensively because you can’t have enough guys like that and his mindset bro he goes full tit Full Tilt he’s got a high motor he’s always playing this game like this his last game doesn’t take plays off high energy player that’s contagious right and he’s really good at turning defense and offense so I really like what I see from him his kind he does need to work on that ball handling in that three ball but if he’s able to improve in those areas I think he has one of the highest ceilings in this draft how do you feel about him for me his comp is something like an Alex Caruso type player I think he can be a little bit better maybe not the same defensive player because Caruso is a off defensive player but I think he can be something to let how do you feel about how do you feel about him you got any thoughts on him um not really um I only watched him briefly you know what I’m saying uh by the way for a lot of you guys that’s in here I want to give a shout out to my guy over at uh you know hoop intellect um I watch him a lot so check out his channel subscribe to his channel he does great breakdowns on these guys um every year of course I have my own websites and everything so I’ll put that in the comments for you guys to this video so um but yeah I only watched him briefly you know what I’m saying um for me it was mostly about the guys that I know for sure that I’ve heard that were on the Pistons radar you know what I’m saying um I know that Dwayne Casey went and he went and visited Zachary overseas you know I’m saying he was sitting at the games you know what I’m saying over there I know that they’re very interested in Cody uh they show significant interest and my as well so um there’s a name in the comments that I actually I agree with uh Devin Carter dein Carter uh I haven’t seen enough you know what I’m saying so um listen man like I said whoever the Pistons add it just has to be a guy that’s gonna contribute a seven foot two guy though you know I want another big um me personally I think you know the Pistons just may move on from Isaiah they may just move on from Isaiah um you’re starting to see it you know what I’m saying it just may happen uh but to put somebody down there with some size um of course we got Jaylen Duren right yeah um I’m all for that I’m all for that we got some rumors also that you you know that we’ll get into later in the show that you want to talk about but uh is filling out this team with proper positions and that and work in pieces that fit together right you know what I’m saying so uh yeah some of these names in the comments are great great names uh you guys are definitely on point in the comment section they are they’re hit they’re hit um so yeah okay I got you so I’m I got a couple more guys I’m gonna go through you mentioned a couple of them modus right Modis bis Knight um 19 right 19 years old 6’1 6 6′ 10 wingspan which is that great but it’s not terrible um he’s he’s a little string bean though he’s 195 pounds um he’s very raw I you know I do think his defense is ahead of his offense at this point um he’s not a clamper but he’s definitely an above average Defender great helps side Defender a he averaged about two blocks a game and he set the record for the most blocks for the G League ignite this past season so that’s a good thing um he’s obviously best as a off ball off ball player but um you know he’s a good cutter he’s a good finisher around the basket he could put you on the poster if you’re not not careful if he kept you lacking and you can tell he watched Dirk watching up too or he watched Dirk growing up because he has a nice little one like a fade away he likes um yeah which is which is pretty cool to see and he’s um he’s good at getting offensive boards you know I mean very active on the glass which I like and he’s got the tools man he’s got the measurables to be really good it’s just his shooting for me um he needs to improve his shooting he shot 27% last season right much better shooter when he’s able to set those feet right got good mechanics right on that jumper so I expect that to go up with time but he’s got to get bigger he’s got to get stronger you know if he wants to play either those four spots he doesn’t really have a quick First Step either so I don’t really see him longterm as a primary offensive initiator Creator because guys are really able to stay in front but yeah my count for him is France vadner I see a lot of France wildner in his game really rangy not amazing at anything but above average at a lot you know especially on defense but I do think fance is a better shooter for sure at this point so that’s kind of my take on Matas um you know I wouldn’t be mad if who took him there’s a couple other guys or one guy particular who we’ll get to who I really do like who I am hoping will take I’ll say that for the end thoughts on on Modas I know we talked about him a little bit any thoughts you have on him my only concern is the shooting that’s my only concern you know same situation man gotta have guys in here that stretch the floor or at least be a a compatiable threat out there right got to have that at this point we’ve seen this team struggle with that too long it’s time to finally get some guys and whether that’s going to be I mean let’s just be honest about it this is the fifth pick of this draft not expecting him to come in here and start you know what I’m saying but if it’s somebody that we feel like you know we can get that that developed you know over a couple years man where he can be someone who can knock down some shots then I’m fine with that as well I mean I’m looking more towards trading in free agency to add the guys that’s GNA you know spread the floor immediately right now you know as far as starting to lineup type of situation right uh this is a guy that’s probably gonna be coming in off the bench so I have no issue with that uh Modis is definitely uh good at a lot of things um it’s just the shooting Department he’s very athletic to be honest um you know I definitely had opportunity to sit and watch some real good clips of my this man so yeah he has a whole lot of game U he does yeah whole lot of game um but the shooting is the only concern yeah I’m with you that’s that’s the only thing for me too um I think that you know obviously with hopefully whoever we bring in he can help them their shooting won’t be that much of an issue um so yeah moving on I’ve got two more guys that a lot of people been talking about um this what particular Le Cody Williams Cody Williams out of Colorado right um um Cody Williams can you guys hear me I’m hearing my D my my audio is off can y’all hear me if not I can try to leave and come right back because I don’t want to man leave who’s the absolute guy that you want to see the pitons draft are of some of these guys that we just named or if it’s a person that we have not named who’s the absolute person that you want to see the Detroit Pistons take a shot at I know it’s been a lot of of names thrown out there but there’s mainly been three consistent that I’ve seen and those are the three that I’ve already discussed uh Cody Williams is definitely catching a lot of flame right now as far as uh you know the Pistons really liking him so yeah we have to wait and see we gota wait and see okay um but yeah I think it’s actually something building there because Andre started making some comments on Instagram that were very very interesting so um that’s a wait and see situation that’s why I said it depends on you know what we do in this draft um if we going and get a big or if we going and get a forward you know you don’t want to a a another Crowder situation right um I think they’re going to move on from from Z you know I think that’s what’s going to happen either that or he’s for sure going to go to the bench um there are some rumors out there we’re GNA get into that I’m trying to savor that into the second half of the show um and wait for dece to get back but it’s just going to be uh it’s going to be interesting to see what we do tomorrow a lot of anticipation a lot of Judge M will come with this pick um a lot of you know Tran langon talk will come with this pick so I think they’re gonna care carefully consider um what they do tomorrow night at 800m and it’s it’s definitely going to be all eyes on that because us as Pistons fans we want some type of future to look forward to um and at the same time you know we want to put pieces around our guy while we have him right obviously we know it’s an extension coming eventually um we want to put some pieces around you know our young core and see them move forward so if it’s a guy that we can develop into a solid piece of this team because everyone that you drive does not need to be a a top three guy on your team you just don’t man um but a solid piece and solid addition to this team is what I’m looking for tomorrow night uh Williams we could hear you okay okay so I okay I’ll just yeah I’ll just kind of go through that again because I want to make sure that we getting everything to everybody right right as long are you were you good with your point that you was making I’m good okay all right so yeah let’s get to Cody man because these are the last two guys I want to get to we can move on so Cody Williams right 19 years old um 68 point guard 7 foot one Wings span which I like um he is a stream Bean as well 180 pound to a lot of these guys man got to put some bulk on um he’s the younger brother of OKC Thunders Jaylen Williams which is pretty cool um as far as his Pros I like him because he’s really comfortable on and off the ball he can fit in pretty much anywhere offensively which is cool he swis armor knife type guy can do a little bit of everything got a high IQ right he’s a really good athlete but what I like is that he likes to move without the ball like he likes to come off dhos those dribble handoff action and Survey the defense and he’s able to make the right read from there he doesn’t get sped up pretty easily which which I like to see that and if he Fells to us he would be a capable playmaker when needed and you can never have too many those right um but what I like also about him offensively is he does it like I mentioned he doesn’t get sped up he’s very patient he knows how to use that body pretty well even though he’s not huge yet he’s not big like a Luca yet he still knows how to use his body and use angles well and get guys in his hip when he’s manipulating that defense which is good and important and then to go from there he’s a good def finisher with either hand I’ve seen him finish with his left a lot he’s really good with that left hand um which is important running that pick and roll right in that DHL you got to be able to use either hand and then defensively I think he can guard one through three right through S maybe even some small ball fours right which is also a good thing being able to switch and not having to fight over every single screen I think is important too so as far as things he needs to work on we talked about it he’s got to get stronger right he’s got to get stronger um and that JB shot at times can be inconsistent can be very inconsistent when he’s on he’s on when he’s off he’s off so I want to see him get a little bit more consistent with that jumper but his player comp I’m not only saying as cuz OKC but he reminds me of jayen McDaniels his game a lot of Jaden McDaniels and Jayden is a future Allstar in his league and he’s a great two-way player so I’m not saying he’s going to be a future Allstar and two-way player but I think he can be the two-way player part I just don’t know if he’s going to be able to get to that level Eton player but we’ll see and the last guy I wanted to get to and then we can move on this is who I actually want if we’re gonna keep if we’re gonna stay at five this is who I want Dalton connect out of Tennessee I don’t even think that’s a popular name maybe it is but that’s who I want bro I’ve been watching a little bit of film as much as I can on all these guys as much time as time will allow and I like his game bro so let’s get to him he’s 23 right 66 guard or forward he’s got a 6′ n wingspan 210 pounds um Pros right I think he is the best scorer in this draft he averaged 21 last season um he’s definitely a great athlete can score at all three levels he’s a good he shot 40% from three last season he’s a good shooter really good shooter and I feel like he could come in right away and solve some of our offensive issues right maybe not even as a starter but just off the bench and I think he can really help connect some of those Zs see what I did there connect connect I think he can connect some of those dots um now his cons now right there is room for improvement defensively he’s not a liability on defense but he does need some work defensively I think a lot of it is is schematically um and he’s not he’s not a a topnotch athlete when it comes to lateral foot moving and things like that he’s got about average lateral foot speed in Perimeter but he does have good defensive instincts and I don’t think he’ll be liability but other than that bro the only other thing that concerns me with him is his age right with him being 23 he would kind of have to come in right away and be an impact player rotational player you know what I mean not a starter but a rotational guy because of his age and experience so if he had like an unusual slow start that would be concerning but I don’t foresee that really happening with him and his player count for me is Tyler hero but I think he can actually be better than Tyler hero I think he I think he’s every bit of the shooter and he can do Hees he’s not just a come off the come off pin downs and he can do a lot of other things as with the ball in his hands so I like what I see from him that’s the guy who if I had my pick it would be D connect at number five you know me personally I don’t mind older players because to me I I they come in a little bit more ready know I’m saying so a little bit more experience a little bit more ready um you take these super super duper young players and then when you have a impatient uh franchise and and fan base it gets kind of annoying you know so right I wouldn’t mind that at all um like I said he’s not going to be a defensive guy that’s just right you know he can be a serviceable guy he can get there but not that’s not what he’s he’ll be here for right and I agree with you go ahead go ahead yeah sure just definitely here to shoot the basketball and and get Buckets that’s what for floor spacing more for spacing so I have no arguments with that that’s that that was the biggest thing there isn’t really a guy in this draft at five or really even in this draft that I’ve seen that has both that has a great three-point shooter great spacer great mve without the ball and also a great defensive prospect I I haven’t seen anybody like that in this draft I think he’s probably the closest thing to that we know we need defense we know we need spacing so it’s kind of like you either got to go all in on one guy’s ability to play defense or you got to go all in on another guy’s ability to shoot the ball and since we already have a guy we dropped the last season we went all in with on defense inar Thompson that’s why I don’t want Modas because I feel like it’ll be a repeat of the same kind of guy so at least add something that you don’t already have you know what I mean right right like I said I’ve been seeing Deon Carter a lot a lot yeah you know what I I have to do more research on I don’t know too much about Devon Carter if I’m being frank with you so I that’s that’s part of my homework for next for next stream too for sure yeah definitely not a name that’s around in the Pistons universe as far as you know beat writers and a couple of plugs out there just not a name in in the universe so definitely a name that we’re totally familiar with right I’m I’m GNA get to of I’m I’m GNA get to them I’m G do my homework on them for sure I got you yeah yeah um tomorrow night NBA draft right yep H Pistons trade to pick piss trade to pick man um what’s your reaction to that um it depends it just depends on what it’s for or who it’s for you know what I’m saying if you know like if if they make a trade for Brandon Ingram I need to see what what else is included in that trade you know if it’s number five and what you know and that’s that’s why I’m really going to learn about tring I want to see how rude he is I I want to see what he’s able to do in in kind of situations where there isn’t as much time as maybe one would like to make a decision I want to see his preparation I’m not saying he’s not I’m just really interested to see what he does his activity level so for me I’m not really if we do trade a pick I’m not mad at all that that’s kind of what I think will be best because we already have too many young guys on this team we need veteran presence which we’ll get to later but if we do I’m not mad at all I actually would prefer if we guys if if we’re going to do it that’s what I prefer okay I gotta ask you some tough questions right let’s do it that’s been out there in rumor okay who’s the guy that we should watch out for on the trade market possibly tomorrow night who’s that guy that you saying hey man they if they make a trade tomorrow night it’s definitely most likely this guy I don’t know if I have a guy I don’t know I like I haven’t honestly man I don’t know bro I like I’m I’m looking more so at free agency which we’ll get to later um I don’t but I don’t have a specific guy as of yet do you have one that you’re looking at is there anybody that stands out to you there’s two names okay how about me what who you got and that’s simply because whenever you start getting uh trade reports around the draft always possibility right one being z um huh I would say the other being uh give me a second Deuce because this is you’re good good between these two guys and before I say one I want to make sure it’s the right one okay um even though we just added them last season oh man you you about to do this to me this you about to do this to me bro I see some reports on grindes bro oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah okay okay so you know like I said between those two guys those are the most reports that I’m seeing out there m as far as possible trade targets Dallas has already reached out to the Pistons so let’s let’s move on let’s do you want there’s there’s a there’s two guys we’re going to talk about tonight one being Tobias Harris the other being Tim Hardway Jr King who you want to tackle first let’s go with uh let’s go with with Tim Hardway Jr Tim Hardway Jr when to go him first yeah okay so all right so I saw report today right Mark Stein reported that the Pistons have emerged as a potential Suitor for Tim Hardway Jr right we talked about that it’s been a lot of a lot of news a lot of Pistons fans um are not the happiest about Tim Hardway Jr um I don’t know well I I do I do want you guys in the comments to let me know why you are feeling the way you do about Tim Hardway Jr cuz I am seeing a lot of angst from the fan base when it comes to him and I just like to personally know why right but that’s the news right the PS have expressed as a poent or have emerged as a potential trade destination for Tim Hardway Jr so King I have to be honest with you bro I do have some mixed feelings about this and at first I was like okay that makes sense they’ve been trying to get him for a while but let me just start with the good right we all know that he has a relationship with Kate right Tim Hardway actually really helped Kate out with his decision to have his surgery on the shin at the beginning of the Season before last so they kind of um he was kind of a mentor for Kate through that process and there’s definitely a friendship that has developed from that situation but now on the other side of the trade Quinton Grimes is the potential outgoing peace in this trade and since you asked me I was going to let you go first about this but since you asked me about it I’m G just get into it um Tim Hardway is entering the last deal of his contract right it’s C friendly 16 million I wouldn’t be opposed to adding him to the roster but I don’t think I like the idea of trading Quinton Grimes in order to get him cuz we I don’t even feel like Quinton Grimes has been given an opportunity bro to show what he can do when he’s help he’s played six he played six games for us last season six yeah CU he came over made way through the season and he got hurtt he got hurt immediately so I don’t think that’s a big enough sample size to say we should move on from him I feel like he could be a rotational piece for our team when he’s healthy and I like the shooting and defense that he can provide if he’s healthy that’s that’s the first thing that’s number one the second thing is if the Pistons make this trade they better get some assets back they better first round pick first round pick first round pick unprotected picks second round I don’t care get some assets back get some assets back period now cuz like you think about it this is the perfect time bro for them to absorb big contracts they got over 60 plus million in caspace right they must demand draft Capital back in return if they if no if they do if they do that I I would be sad to see Grahams go because it’s like what if we didn’t give him a chance he got hurt but I will consider it but again it’s all about absorbing contracts for assets I need an at least one unprotected first round pick at least at least for me it’s all about the assets bro like ideally ideally Tim can be a solid veteran locker room presence for a team that has none and then come next season you look back and you basically trade Quinton Grimes for a draft pick and then Tim’s veteran presence you have it for one year so if they don’t bring it back you know the Pistons will have that 16 million back in caspace just like that just like that so I think if we’re going to give K Max extension which all signs point to I think it’s at this point it’s important to get guys around him that he’s comfortable with and will pair well with with him on the court I think after these past couple Seasons with the roster not being constructed well around him and a coach that essentially didn’t care to be here I think the franchise player deserves that much so if you’re going to do this deal okay do it you include Grimes in the deal fine get at least one draft pick back period if you’re not doing that you might as well you’re not on a team that’s winning already one that’s trying to start winning I would worry about his psyche too going from a team that just went to the NBA finals to a team that had the worst record in the league last season I might I wonder if he would feel entitled to shots I would wonder if he would feel entitled to shots just because hey I’ve been in the finals hey you know I I I I don’t I’m not saying he would do that but that’s one thing that I would worry about p yeah he’s this is the last year of his deal that’s what I was saying um it would make sense if if you’re not going to get a draft if they’re not going to give you anything other than just the trade you just let him stay there and if you really want him that bad sign him in the offseason when he’s a free agent to a cheap forgot the other team we we definitely the Two Front Runners for this man yeah yeah so the Pistons and the Utah Jazz are the Front Runners to add Tobias Harris to their team my opinion may not be popular but I’m going to give it to y’all anyway I don’t mind it I really don’t it first of all it’s crazy it’s been eight years since we added a’t that crazy it’s been eight years since we added him back in 2016 but let me just go through his stats real quick and then and then y’all y’all can y’all can jump on jump on me if you want but I’m I’m I’m going say it anyway so when he was here he Aver 16.8 points 5.3 rebounds 1.9 assists right 47% shooting in 32 minutes last year for the Sixers he averaged 17.3 points six boards three assists a steal and nearly Block in 34 minutes on 49% shooting 35 from three better numbers than when he was here so I know you have your thoughts I’m going to give you mine first and then you can give me yours as well um I’m going tell you this bro when he was here I loved when he was here I love when he was here um he has Family Ties here too his younger brother Terry actually played for Eastern Michigan for those who are not aware his younger brother’s name is Terry Harris look just like his twin brother jco jcole yeah J.Cole twin brother right um so he does have some Family Ties here I think that may be part of the reason why he may be interested in coming back here I don’t think he’d be more so for the money I think he be more so about situation and honestly bro I was sad to see him go in that Blake Griffin trade to this day that was still a mistake to me in my mind so Tobias is not an All-Star right never has been but he was very solid and steady he can spread the floor he can create offense for himself he can score in a lot of different ways he plays within the offense he doesn’t try to he doesn’t stagnate the offense right and I know this past season wasn’t his best I know this past postseason was not as best I get it I know in the last game of the season for the Sixers he scored zero points yes he did that’s not good at all I get it I knew that’s probably where you were going to but look I’m not going to judge him off of that bro I’m judging him off his career he’s only 31 he’s been consistent throughout his career when he’s been asked to play his role he’s not going to come here and try to be the guy offensively he’s going to be a complimentary tertiary scorer who can spread the floor give a spacing out of that pick and roll I don’t mind him in the corner you know what I’m saying I don’t mind him in the corner providing us more space um he’s got a solid post game good free throw shooter he’s a good player man defensively he’s not great he’s not terrible he’s solid he’s a willing Defender he’s not great like you like you probably gonna get to him but he’s not liability look bro we got 60 million a cap right every year you got to spend all it before the start of the Season every you can’t carry it over like you used to be able to do you have to use all your cap before day one of the regular season so to me this is one of the better moves they can make based on what they need we talked about what dton connect how we need spacing or we need defense one or the other he he provides spacing and he can be a tertiary scorer he’s not the greatest defensive player we talked about it but he feels some needs and also lastly one of the biggest things I like about Tobias is he is a consant pro now we always talk about having a veteran presence here having somebody who’s gonna take the game seriously that’s Tobias Harris he takes the game very seriously and he would set a great example for these young guys he’s like a robot he does the same thing every single day the same way he’s got great habits and I think he can help these young guys build good habits for themselves individually and as a team like I mentioned he’s 31 years old bro and yeah man I won’t mind it as long as the contract isn’t too crazy right as long as it’s not too crazy I would I would not mind bringing him here for a couple years so what are your thoughts I see with a scratching your head what’s what’s what’s going on that contract better be a merchant deal I swear bring it back and for my my guy V everybody didn’t like Tobias Harris when he was here I was one of them people who didn’t like him you know why really know he played the four last year for the Sixers but that resulted in what playoff ex to they lost to the Knicks in six games right they got plenty of guys over there so to me he needs to play the three I don’t mind the four in small ball matchups but the league as we’ve talked about King is going back to that two big lineup right you look at um min Ina Denver Milwaukee Boston all these guys like all these teams have implemented that two big lineup and more teams are starting to do it now so if we sign him I’m starting him at the three and then he has to go to the he has to he absolutely has to bro so like my starting five is this this is what I would Envision my starting five is Kate jayen Tobias this my surprise you Stuart and end Duran now hear me out I know a lot of people don’t think Isaiah Stewart is a starter right but I think he would fit well with this lineup cuz now you got guys who can provide spacing he doesn’t have to do too much scoring because now you got Tobias carrying some of that load and then he could guard you know we could have our guard play can help facilitate these easy baskets for him especially with Tobias also providing that spacing right so I know a lot of y’all don’t think he’s a starting four but to me he’s the best option at the four given what we have right with the two big lineups that we would have that and I know you mentioned fonio but bro he’s only 67 he’s 67 206 Tobias is 68 236 so if I don’t want to buy at my four I definitely don’t want spu with there either you see what I’m saying I mean that’s why I would say Ste that’s why I would say St though is the best option in that lineup with Tobias because now you got a pretty balanced starting five you got shooting you’ve got some defense it’s not the most but you got some defense you got a two big lineup you’ve got spacing D is not asked to score points he’s just asked to do the Dirty Work he it’s it’s kind of constructed pretty pretty balanced Tobias is not out of position at the four he’s back at the three he’s not o under size you see what I’m saying you still got Jan you still got stew you got Caden you got Ivy as your guards that’s a pretty balance starting five you see what I’m saying in that in that situation that’s why I think Ste can start in that situation what if you can have what if you can have to to uh what if you can have okay who would you rather have miles Bri miles bridges come on now so if you got miles Bridges you put at the three with jayen dur Ren at the five you good with that bench absolutely a backup big if get lucky we get drama back absolutely right right it’s more balance 100% I’m with y’all like yeah I’m just talking about Tobias because that’s what has been reported if miles is is is an option absolutely it ain’t no last season so he’s still a player that can come in and contribute it just won’t be you know probably the splash that I think most people are looking for yeah because you know those are there three names that I’ve heard is obviously hairs I’ve heard uh I’ve seen some things with Bridges I’ve seen some things with still right so you know those type of veterans right you know come in contribute Tobias ain’t G contribute on defense Cann KN here and there right I just don’t like I said it it doesn’t matter who we bring it here what matters is the coach the coach has to come in here and demand that respect and say listen go out there and be a shot chucker right try to making guys that’s the fourth option on teams come here and try to be a number one option we done with that no more boan bovic situations right so right at the end of the day which for me personally I wish we would have had a coach before going into this draft so he can put his twang on it too um but the coach is gonna say everything for me what you gonna demand out of these players what type of role they play what type of system you gonna create for these guys to be successful in so yeah if they go and get a guy into bu his hairs I’m not going to argue with it I’m not going to argue with anything they do I’m going to give them they just do and say Hey listen Maybe you bring the right guys in here to get it right with these guys that you brought right that’s we all holding them to that test all of us all of us business fans are so that’s a good point that’s a good point it’s a lot of answers a lot of questions that need to be answered because there’s a lot of different combinations you can go with and we haven’t even made any moves yet yeah so you’re right it’s really going to come down to how the coach sees fit as far as putting these guys together in the best position to be successful and who that entails you know what I mean who who that means so you’re right it’s yeah we’re not going to really know anything until we have our coach in place and then we can kind of have more of an idea of what his vision is for the team along with the whoever the G is GNA be right because you don’t once again we’re not contending yet we want to win more games for sure but we also want our guys to grow as they’re winning games and the best way to grow is to be in the floor so even though he may little easy at times you get the right coaching here all that changes you know another year under his belt he he’s learning now how to prepare like professional um getting his conditioning a little bit better so to do that listen I have no reason to believe that he actually could not be a really defensive uh uh Center BR we talked about this it for me it’s it’s not about his ability it’s about up here it’s about staying locked in and not jumping off the boat because you have one of the worst records in the NBA I’m telling you man I’ve said this before I’m G say it again I’m G keep saying it it’s not about the ability y’all it’s about it’s about the want to with JD he’s he’s he’s a very smart player man like he like I said before who was he coached by at Memphis was coached by Penny cuz that’s that’s that’s the that mental part of it that professionalism part of it that consistency part of it is just as important as the ability listen listen close Pistons fans get last season out to play together and play all these different things get these reps in V just talked about how he didn’t want F Teo playing over assar right then why do you want to pend pay $25 million for a GU to play more minutes than Jaylen durren make it make sense like what do y’all really not y’all but everybody what do we really want do we want our young guys to play together and grow do we have that patience to do that to be honest over the years Duce fan base don’t know what the hell they want because we go and we draft players right we draft players top five guys we make trades get players that knowledge to them not a guy who’s gonna be a Cory Joseph to where he has experience but he never plays and they don’t hear him or the other side of spectrum a guy like Paul George to where he’s still he’s really really good probably would be the best player on the team day one but it’s taking away from the other guys it has to be somewhere in the middle that’s why I was saying Tobias Harris type of guy even a miles Bridges type of guy even though I like to BU his professionalism more right L he he’s less whatever but that’s I want that kind of guy somebody who’s somewhere in the middle right not a superstar player but a respected player that can help your team on the court and can still demand the respect of the teammates that to me is the ideal situation so Paul George no I’m honestly don’t know anything about this guy I’m not going to lie to you I I got to do my research on him I don’t know too much about him um but if I am being honest I did think about the fact of or the possibility of is this connected to the Tim Hardway rumors with him being with Dallas I don’t know for sure I have not heard anything regarding it yet but it is kind of interesting that those two reports came out on the same day and both of those guys were at Dallas right just something to keep in mind but if anybody has any information on Dennis Lindsay now we can definitely yeah PD I I hey man you know I I got I gotta bring it up I gotta highlight it bro I’m not I’m not trying to let me knock on wood just just because I know y’all do not want to way here so but I’m just saying just just just just keep just keep your um you know just just keep your alerts up keep your head up and keep your head in the swivel because that could be some smoke there so just just pay attention to that but
