here with the newest Toronto Raptor Jamal shed just hearing that for starters how does that sound I miss Sur Real such a blessing man um I used to pray for things like this it’s awesome for you thinking about everything that you’ve been able to accomplish over your career and to see your name on that screen get that phone call how would you describe that moment um you know something you dream about but you don’t know how to experience it you don’t know how to feel about it um until it happens so um you know I started crying my family is next to me uh it was just amazing bro and I I’m so thankful Not only was your immediate family but your basketball family was here as well Kelvin Kellen your ex teammates what it mean to you to have them come and support you on your big day man you know um coach Kell was here last night told me that you know that he was going to bring the whole Squad down today and uh they got two Vans drove down you know that’s a testament to you know what we built at Houston and how you know we support each other and how much they support me and um you know that’s just so much love and I’m so thankful for those guys to even be in my life so it was just awesome to have them here you get to play the waiting game obviously waiting for day two something that’s not new to you you did that even here at the University of Houston how would you kind of describe what that was like over the past really 24 hours now um you know I just waited for my blessing um God never makes mistakes uh he may work in mysterious ways but he never makes mistakes so um I waited for my blessing and you know I’m headed to a organization that wants me and I’m just ready for ready to work for them what is that organization getting in Jamal shed um a guy that’s going to give 100% every day and is ready to work and ready to learn you know um might not be the most talented guy you’ll ever meet but I might be the most who working so I’m ready for whatever they throw at me and ready to give them all well you know the toron Raptors they have a really big fan I think you were able to meet him earlier this year I think he’s a famous rapper something something like that yeah I got the I got the great opportunity to meet Drake who’s also my favorite rapper so um you know it’s it’s pretty cool to go to his home City and be able to represent what he what he represents so it’s it’s pretty cool and you know I’m looking forward to chopping it up with him congratulations Jamal grab a coat and your passport appreciate you appreciate it
