[Michael Scotto] The Golden State Warriors won’t tender a qualifying offer to guard Lester Quinones, league sources told @hoopshype. The 23-year-old guard will become an unrestricted free agent after shooting 36.4 percent from 3-point range in 37 games for the Warriors last season.

I’ll be damned.

Why not just keep him to fill our depth…

Are there any pros/cons to not offering him a QO?

This was (sadly) evident when we traded for Waters.

  4. Man Lester was a great vibe on the bench and I liked his game. A little weird to give up on someone who’s been developing in the system for 2 years. Hope the best for him

  5. He can play – hope someone else gives him the chance or hope he sticks around 🙂

Damn we’ll miss you bro, crazy good vibes

I don’t see the logic of getting Waters over him.

  8. It’s a financial decision. They can still bring him
    back on a minimum deal.

  9. I wanted him to be good so badly, his game reminded me of Poole

Logical. Quinones is a14th guy at best. Time to look for another potential.

  11. I could not for the life of me understand how he kept getting burn over Moody and now they just let him go. Someone make it make sense

He’s not bad not he’s not good enough, and they need to upgrade that bench.

🙁 I am sad. He has such great energy.

  14. He’s a talented player, I hope he lands on another roster.

Best of luck to Lester. I loved his game. Maybe a little more muscle would greatly help his D and he’ll become a solid rotation player somewhere.

  16. This stinks. Quinones always brought good energy. Hope he gets another shot somewhere soon.

His 3pt percentage would have been better but he got a few hand grenades lobbed his way.
