nick wright (@getnickwright) on X: I have found the Bronny James coverage to be so wildly disingenuous & dishonest, that I truly can’t believe it. This is one of the coolest sports stories ever & folks are letting their transparent dislike & jealousy of LeBron make them miss that point.

Nick Wright talks Bucks selecting Giannis’ brothers and no one batting an eyelid about someone’s spot getting stolen lol

What’s been crazy is watching parts our own fanbase go mask off these last few weeks as well.

I can simultaneously like LBJ, AND acknowledge the negative consequences of nepotism. I can be happy for LBJ, happy for Bronny, and be excited about them playing together, while also discouraging nepotism. I can also simultaneously say Bronny got drafted because he worked hard AND because he benefited from familial advantages.

And stop pretending 2nd round picks and two way multi-million contracts are given out in McDonalds Happy Meals. They aren’t.

Nick can fuck off with his pompous patronising ways. When the Bucks selected Giannis’ brothers, he was still a nobody.

Did he use this time to make fun of JJ whilst at the same time going to Colin Herd podcast and say he is on the top 1% of football watchers?

All this hoopla, you thought the lakers drafted bronny with a lottery pick instead of a late 2nd.

Anything related to LeBron is gonna get a shit ton of hate. It’s not surprising at all.

The reality of the situation is that Bronny doesn’t deserve to be in the league but it’s also awesome that Bron and Jr. get to play together. Simple as that.

  8. I get both sides of the argument. Bronny was just not good enough to get drafted and only got drafted because his dad, probably won’t see the floor unless something drastic happens, but it is cool a father son playing on the same team.
