LeBack
So he is coming back. I hope he does a little paycut for flexibility of mle
LeRetireALaker
Will he take a cheaper deal for us to get the full MLE?
If using the 55th pick secured Bron’s final few years, then beyond worth it
I feel hell take a lil less
Lebron has the chance to do the funniest thing.
Noooo we’re so fucked
LePaycut?
He’s taking off whatever Junior’s going to earn lol
His max this season would be $49.35M, which gives us an additional $2.06M compared to if he opted in. His salary included puts us at 12 signed players and about $2M under the first apron and $12.8M under the second apron. We still need to sign Knecht, Max and Bronny.
Knecht and Bronny will be about $5.7M, leaving us around $7M to re-sign Max if we want to stay under the second apron.
Bron taking a paycut would only to be able to help us re-sign Max without going into the second apron.
I feel like Lebron always complains about needing more help yet won’t take a pay cut to get that help. He makes so much money outside of the NBA .
We have his son, use it to our advantage and make him sign for less
Y’all think he’ll actually meet with other teams or now
Lebron taking a vet minimum and having 50 million cap space would win us a championship this year
Best route. This allows the Lakers to be more flexible when it comes to moves. LeBron has all summer to sign based off what happens in free agency.
imagine he ditches his son
“you’re on your own kid”
If they can give him 100 million a year and a percentage in the org maybe other aging superstars will see how we treated him and want to come play for us after there prime.
With the amount players make I’m surprised some guys don’t take big paycuts to build a super team and ring chase
alright mr.james and mr.paul, this is what im proposing:
sign a 4 year, back loaded contract. like im talking maximum incentives and guaranteed money in year four.
effectively defer all of the major payout for the fourth year. take the lowest amount you can in years 1-3 to maximize cap flexibility.
retire in 3 years, work out an agreement to be “bought out”. receive guaranteed checks like bobby Bonilla for the rest of your life.
Are we getting James harden?
3 yr 80 mill
It would be hilarious if Lebron left after we made JJ the coach and drafted Bronny
I’m expecting him to do something similar to what he did when he signed with the heat he will take a little less than the max
LeOptOut
LePaycut
He was always going to opt out. The question is whether he will take a family discount in order to sign an impactful player or two. Otherwise, it will be another tough season in a stacked West.
We’re about to a masterclass from Rob
Hypothetically-
Can Lebron just say F it – I’ll take MLE- go out and get one more star?
Or he HAS to sign for close to his value?
Even as a fan I’d find it hilarious if he got his son drafted then bolted town
Imagine opting out of $50M because you can get more
I’m gonna bet we target Miles Bridges and Gary Trent Jr
If he can take a paycut who could we target for the MLE?
one thing to play with your son other to win a championship take the vet min Lebron
People do realize Bronny isn’t actually gonna be in the roster right? Hes not gonna make the 14 man roster? That he’s gonna go to the G-league?
Can someone with cap knowledge explain to me why we DONT have the tax payer MLE this offseason? According to Bobby Marks, our projected salary is still a few million below the 2nd apron
Pull a Shohei please
Maybe it’s copium but if there was ever a year to take a pay cut, it would be at the end of his career when he is trying to win a championship with his son.
