“The Los Angeles Lakers, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Sacramento Kings have all reportedly shown at least some level of interest in Johnson… It’s likely that — due in part to his age (28) — the Nets have put a high trade price tag on Johnson.” (Via: @NYPost_Lewis)

The Hawks set a 2 1st price on Murray, didn’t get it at the deadline waited until the off-season, and their price was met!

I’m perfectly fine with Cam Johnson starting the season if teams think they can get him for the low since we’re having a fire sale! Cam is a 6’8 3&D career 40% 3-point shooter. That is the most valuable position for a contender and we should be compensated as such.

The issue with cam Johnson is matching salaries. I think he’ll get traded eventually. We just gotta hold and wait. It could even be after this year, his value will hold with his contract descending. Dfs on the other hand needs to move before the deadline

I would’ve gladly taken the kings #13 pick. Don’t know if I’m undervaluing Cam or if the kings weren’t willing to give that up for him, but I really hope we move him

  4. I hope them putting a high value on CJ doesn’t ruin their chances of a trade

High price tag? Just get rid of that contract for an expiring one. I’d take one pick if you’re getting an expiring deal.

I don’t mind waiting a while to see which teams strike out with their A plans but no way in hell should Johnson or DFS be on this roster opening night

Could see if something could happen for DLo, a young guy, and a pick for him since the lakers seem to be aggressively shopping him. But I’m sure they’d be looking to get more than Cam for that

Lakers can have CJ and DFS, if they hand over their next available future unprotected 1st (which if memory serves is 2029?)

They can send back whatever salary matching they want.

If the Lakers want to send back more money than they are acquiring, then they should include a protected pick swap (2030).
