The Knicks gave up on giving Hartenstein an offer when they saw the types of offers he is going to be getting. It’s a situation where the Knicks want Hartenstein but they have given up trying to get him. It’s a ‘good luck on your new team, take as much money as your earned’ situation. There’s a chance it could be Rokas Jokubaitis too – He’s set on coming to the NBA this year after Barcelona signed 2024 draft and stash Juan Nunez to play his role.
We aren’t going to have room in the rotation for Jokubaitis, especially if we roster Kolek, but the Nets would find the room.
