🚨BREAKING: Patrick Williams Signs Long-Term Deal To Return To The Chicago Bulls

we got some breaking news to share with you guys on today’s edition of the Bulls report as Patrick Williams is intending to sign a longterm extension to return to the Chicago Bulls what’s up everybody my name is Patrick seatman welcome into the Bulls report and as you guys see I am filming a video in a car right now I was out at a restaurant you know hanging out with some people and then I got that news that Patrick Williams is going to be returning to Chicago so I had to hop back in the car here real quick and share with you guys my thought so coming up I’m going to giveing you guys the contract details why I do love this move what does this mean for the Bulls heading in the free agency and then also I do want to talk some demard D rozan Nicole vuvi and Zack wavine on the back half of today’s show but speaking about free agency starting tomorrow it kicks off at 5:00 P p.m. central Time and as we know there are going to be signings immediately when that happens so make sure you guys are subscribed here to the channel as we are actually less than 200 subscribers away from 8,000 if we could sell hit it on this late night car video that I’m making for the Patrick Williams extension I think it would be absolutely awesome so make sure you guys hit that subscribe button lock Us in and let’s just dive right into the news so Patrick Williams is ex uh is signing or he intends to sign it’s not technically official yet but it is a fiveyear $90 million deal that is it we heard the reports before last season if people forgot this Patrick Williams wanted to get a $200 million deal he’s only getting 90 million and plus it’s a fiveyear extension and it ends up being $18 million per year we haven’t gotten how it’s going to shake out each year so obviously when we do get that I’ll share with you um you know that info on a future video but I love this move and if you guys have watched a couple of my videos here on the channel you guys know I’m a Patrick Williams believer I think his you know type of play style his type of player his archetype that he is I think he translates to winning at a very very high level you know we look around the NBA right now you got the Jason tatums the jayen Browns like these really athletic wings like you need guys to guard him and Patrick Williams is one of the few you know young players at 22 years old that I think he can actually you know match up and make like life difficult for some of the top Wings in the NBA and the fact that they were able to get him on an $18 million deal keep this in mind this is a 22-year-old who is a plus Defender who just shot 40% from three throughout his career and obviously last season and keep in mind also this he started off last season really struggling from uh Beyond The Arc and then he worked his way back up 2 40% then obviously you know he had that season ending injury which was devastating for him but I think this is an absolute great deal for the Bulls and I know people are going to be freaking out I can already see the comments section right now why would we resign Patrick Williams he has been a bust there is no reason to give you know this guy who is the fourth overall pick in the draft this type of money this is a steal of a deal like his type of player I cannot emphasis you know or emphasize this enough is like there is direct correlation to having Elite 3 and D Wings who are super long super athletic that relates to winning probably second most in the NBA than obviously having like that Superstar I think the New York Knicks very well-run organization over the past couple years and if you disagree with that you know you just haven’t been paying attention to Leon Rose and the crew have been doing over there in New York what did they do this off season they gave five first round picks for Bridges who obviously he’s way better than Patrick Williams but you would hope maybe one day Patrick Williams could turn out to be that and then they also gave OG and an Obi almost or $50 million per year you know why because they looked at the NBA they looked at the moves that even take the Dallas Mavericks for example what did they do at the trade deadline they brought in PJ was Elite three and D Wing who can help teams get better on the margins that’s what the Bulls are planning on doing with Patrick Williams and I promise you we are going to look back at this deal in three years from now when maybe we’re heading into the 2027 28 season and we’re going to say we got Patrick Williams on an $18 million contract this would be my bold prediction right now this is going to be one of the best contracts in the NBA in the next three to four seasons I fully believe that I’m a Believer in his development so far we have seen it he what what was the biggest issue with him coming out of college his three-point shot he shoots 40% on his career he’s an elite Defender can knock down the corner three and we’ve seen flashes of greatness and you know I think we as BS fans like originally we saw him coming out saw his play his rookie year you know we were like oh that dude could be like kawh Leonard and you know maybe that was you know you know too much of lofty expectations putting on him but you still see those flashes especially in the midrange game like especially with him getting to that one dribble pullup where he rises over the top of a smaller Defender and he knocks it down at a pretty high clip we know he’s a freak athlete you could just throw on some of his best dunks of his career you know after you watch this video you see that pop you see that potential in Patrick Williams I think it’s a great move but hey you guys let me know your thoughts down in the comments section uh curious to see what you guys have to say about this deal because I know there’s going to be people down there that obviously disagree with this move but overall I love it you guys let me know your thoughts down below now I do want to talk about free agency as it does get underway tomorrow just to kind of wrap up today’s show um you know if you’re looking at this Bull’s roster right now obviously there’s three huge moves that need to be done like it’s either you got to make a decision on Zack oen you got to make a decision on Demar de R rozan and then if you are trying to trade V and we’ve gotten reports that they intend to do so like you got to do that but I think the bows how they’re going to approach free agency I think right now they are probably calling countless numbers of teams like they’re they’re probably calling you know the Clippers about dear they’re probably calling the Kings magic you know about Zack oen and they probably want to get those deals done and then they can address free agency so if I had to predict it I think it’s going to be a slow start to free agency for the Bulls but let’s just say they move off a bunch of these guys they get some players they get some picks in return then I could see them really attacking free agency and it may not go down till you know Tuesday or Wednesday of this upcoming week but there is one guy that um I do have my eyes on and it’s James wisman um former second overall pick like freak athlete we know what he’s about good rim protector good lob threat just he hasn’t really been able to get a good feel of the NBA game so far he doesn’t have the best touch I don’t love his in instincts but he is still a super super young player and let’s just say the Bulls do move off Nicole vuvi I would love it if somehow the Bulls starting lineup next season was Josh giddy as you know he’s probably goingon to be running the one Kobe White Patrick Williams bu zalis and then let’s just say James wisman or Andre Drummond at the five will that team win a lot of games probably not they’ll probably struggle it’ll probably be a 20 to 30 win team hopefully but you know what next year’s draft class they got all types of talent at the top end of that if you could somehow get one of those guys and then you have wisan Kobe IO Williams buellis like the youth movement is here and that’s why I’m so excited and you know I know as BS fans we have given you know this front office a really hard time and for right reason like their lack of moves their lack of self-awareness it is it it deserves to be criticized because they have been one of the worst run organizations over the past couple years and I stand by that however I will say this they have handled this offseason perfectly um as it stands right now there are still moves to be made but just hearing the reports that they’re not going to you know or that they’re looking for homes for Zack aine Nicole they don’t really have a set decision on demard d r rozan just yet then you kind of got lucky in the draft with buellis falling to 11 but that was a great pick even though you know was kind of obvious that after he started falling I was like yeah there’s no doubt the Bulls are taking him at 11 but now you got Patrick Williams on this steal of a deal and you know I just think the Bulls they are just a couple moves away man they’re a couple moves away from setting themselves up for the next three four and five years I will just want to make this last note and then we get on out of here Bulls fans the youth movement is here be excited about it and don’t get upset if this basketball team struggles for the next year or maybe two years because you know what it will pay off there is Young Talent on this basketball team for the first time in a while heading in the last season I didn’t have a single player that I was like that guy’s a building block that guy’s a good starter in the NBA now you’re looking at this Bulls team Kobe white took took that huge jump why was that cuz LaVine got hurt his usage his shots per game went up I think we’re going to see that same jump with Patrick Williams this upcoming year and you got him on an $18 million deal I’m absolutely ecstatic about this um I was kind of concerned about losing him uh heading the free agency because I could have saw another team throw him like 20 plus million dollars um and just chopping it up with some of our other uh NBA hosts here at chat sports like they liked him just cuz he is that prototypical 3 and D shoot 40 plus% from downtown like he has that and I’m just happy the Bulls are able to retain him in a you know in a great deal so you know thank you guys so much for watching Today’s show had to do it in the cars hopefully you know that didn’t bother you guys too much but still just want to get on here chop it up with you guys as a late night post almost midnight when of this is going to be going out so thank you guys so much for watching make sure you are subscribed see you guys next time go bows [Music] m [Music]

  1. I Appreciate you getting this out so quick
I think it’s solid. Glad it’s not 20 mil but 5 years is a lot. Looks like AK has embraced the youth movement

  2. 5 years 18 mil a year is great especially at the tail end of this contract. P will needs to improve but this a good deal for his production now imagine when he gets more aggressive and his game shapes up to his potential

  3. That's the going rate now in the NBA. If the Bulls don't offer him that someone will.

  4. The host likes this deal. Watch it fail. He liked Levine. Bum. He liked Vooch bum he likes Coby white. Bum . Watch and see bums

  6. Time to add some young Bigs. Walker Kessler would be awesome at Center. Then you need a backup Center, Wiseman i think is worth a gamble. Need PF help for the Rookie. Maybe Randle or a big contract coming back is the PF.

  9. This is a good sign he showed some good development especially during the time where derozan and lavine were out this is going to be a good season it’s really just mental for him

  10. Lavine's value increases as free agents come off the board. I think we'll have a suitor before the end of free agency.

The same can be said for vooch, though i think he's more likely to be an in season trade next year after some team gets in injury trouble.

After Lavine, Demar, and Vooch are gone, the young guys will have the minutes and usage rates to truly develop.

  11. I'm still not a believer, but the upside is there, and I'm actually happy he signed with the bulls

  12. 18 mil a year for a career 10 and 4 guy is a steal? Holy smokes. Let’s be honest here. Bulls didn’t extend this offer to him to get 10 and 4; they need him to become a 15 and 7 guy at least to earn this contract, but I just don’t think PWill has enough heart to become that.

  13. Bulls must tank this season.
We MUST draft Cooper Flagg next summer.
We cannot allow any other team to draft Super Cooper.

  14. The same fans talking bad about p will saying he’s a 10 and 4 guy are the same fans that wanted to trade Coby white. P will plays defense that doesn’t show up on the box score and will be our best 3 and D player this year.
