all right the Miami Heat take Koo wear at pick 15 where the center from Indiana had a lot of production this past year KP your thoughts on this pick I love this I love that khle has really redeemed himself we saw what he did he kind of disappeared when he was at Oregon and remember this is a player that NBA Scouts have known who he is because he was a five-star Prospect coming out of high school played for Team USA at the u8 level and he just did absolutely nothing in Oregon trans to Indiana becomes much more productive in the pick and role he improved his footwork improved his hands in terms of what he was doing with the ball he wasn’t second guessing himself average 16 and 10 I like this pick and usually what we see with Miami is they take swings on more established players so picking a player like C wear who has two years of college experience and still has tremendous upside with his athleticism I’m all for it Lamar the fit for Miami with wear what are you thinking it makes sense to me from the stand point of he’s a vertical threat Miami Heat last year with bam adabo Jimmy Butler number one in the league in terms of the percentage of mid-range shots that they took for adabo he started really heavy in the mid-range moved even closer to the rim as the season went on so that tightens things up so if you’re going to be down there you got to be able to get up that’s the only way to provide that spacing and he will be able to do that yeah Eric spoler taught me once what vertical spacing is we think about the floor spacing at the three-point line you can also suck the defense into the paint when you have a vertical jumper like KH we who’s got a 7 fo5 wingspan so this guy has really long I’m surprised they didn’t go with Jared McCain or Dalton connect but they’re confident in their ability to score in the half court that’s what this pick tells me that they feel like they need size and he is as big as anybody outside of Zach Edy your favor K and say where led the Big 10 and defensive percentage rebounding so it’s a guy that you know is going to get on the glass seems like a good pick to us for the Heat
