what’s going on everybody my name is Aiden and welcome back to another video ladies and gentlemen today we are going to be discussing a little bit more business that the Chicago Bulls did during this draft period and no it’s not what we wanted we didn’t necessarily I guess see the Bulls try to trade into the into the draft again and maybe go for car filipowski or whoever we may be interested in we actually signed a player on an exhibit 10 contract and today I want to talk about that player and what this could mean for the Chicago B in a short but hopefully I guess meaningful video but before we Bulls and whether or not you like this exhibit 10 I guess deal or do you believe the Bulls should have just avoided it and see what ends up happening but with that being said it is reported that Marcus domask has been signed by the Chicago Bulls on an exhibit 10 contract now first we probably should tell you what is an exhibit 10 contract well basically it allows the player to kind of go through training training camp that’s really all that it means so he’ll be a player fighting in training camp trying to fight his worth and prove himself to the Chicago Bulls to maybe even get a two-way contract or even potentially a main roster spot with this Chicago Bulls team keep in mind this is a non guaranteed contract it’s like pretty much every preseason contract you see the Bulls I guess give away they’re fighting for the training camp spots they’re fighting for the preseason spots but at the end of the day only 15 men can be selected as the as the main team and I believe only two maybe three two-way contract spots can be selected so it’s a very limited number ladies and gentlemen and ultimately as interesting as this signing may be you have to realize this may not be a permanent signing so don’t get all too excited now ladies and Gentlemen let’s wait and see what he ends up doing in training camp let’s see what he ends up doing since then and let’s see if he can prove his worth but we should probably discuss just a little bit about what I guess he has done for I guess uh Illinois that’s the team that he played for at the end of the day so it’s another I guess player that’s played in a situation that many bulls fans should should key word be familiar with but he’s a 6’6 forward and a big thing here he’s 24 years old um he wasn’t expected to be drafted either apparently from the Articles I’ve read he wasn’t expected to go in the NBA draft regardless he’s probably one of the older draft prospects I think we have ever talked about and yes we didn’t draft the player but we signed the player and he was expected or again he wasn’t expected to go on the draft but I I’m pretty sure he declared for the draft which is quite interesting in all honesty uh but looking at his stats he average around 15.9 points per game and five rebounds with 3.9 assists shooting 45% from the field and his three-point percentage sits roughly around at least for this season which is not great 29.7% now previous Seasons before that I’m just looking at it here a he averages around 34 35% which is a little bit closer to League average which is what I’m hoping again if he’s going to be a Chicago Bull is what I’m hoping he could be now I don’t know too much about his strengths and weaknesses I personally didn’t go too much in detail about that but I do find it interesting who the Bulls are giving a chance to so we gave a chance to someone that is 24 years old probably the older Drive Prospect in the entire draft and we’re giving him a chance to kind of make his place known fight for his spot and I don’t have a problem with it whatsoever again I don’t mind players fighting for their spot I think the two-way contract spots are definitely an open Avenue for him and it’s not a guarantee that any of our two-way contract players remain as a two-way contract player so yes I’m fine with this an Illinois player I’m fine with that let’s see what he can end up doing if he can earn his way into a contract that’s great and at least he’s going to get the opportunity to do so so fair play and we’ll have to just wait and see how things go from there now there’s a lot more other news ladies and gentlemen but I’m going to probably get to it in another video I just wanted to make this solely based on the I guess the business that we did in terms of the draft but again there’s so many things I haven’t talked about yet I haven’t talked about Josh giddy’s um press conference we’ve I’ve watched it I haven’t really got a chance to talk about it i’ would like to talk about it obviously AK spoke after the draft I would like to talk about that as well rumors about Nicola vich being on the trading block look as someone that’s called This months ago I would like to talk about that as well so there’s a lot that I would like to talk about and ultimately you know we’ll get around to it again free agencies kicking off very soon as well so we also need to talk about free agency prospects and do we even need to make any big sign in free agency if we’re going to go younger do we need to go and splash the cash on someone do we keep dear Rosen do we keep Nicola vous there so much that we need to talk about but I’ll leave it for now and I will see you in the next video I will see you hopefully we can talk about I guess anything else in the next one we
