Ant-Man, SGA & Wemby headline Greeny’s Top 5 next young superstars Green List 📝 | Get Up

NBA season just coming to an end here as we look ahead to next year the Boston Celtics on ESPN bet have been installed as the favorites to win the championship you see other teams with short odds including the Timberwolves the Mavericks and the Thunder all those teams of course have young stars who are seeking their first championship and it was Jason Tatum who actually inspired this green list for this morning my top five young superstars that I think will be the next to win their first championship now that Tatum has has finally won his at number five I’m putting vikor wanyama because I certainly believe the time is coming when he is the most dangerous weapon in the NBA now I’m not expecting that to happen next year or even the year after that but I think the Celtics are going to repeat as Champions next year so I don’t think this list becomes acal for at least another year when Bama has to be taken seriously at number four I’ll say Luca donic look obviously they were incredibly close this year I think a lot of things fell right for them this season as brilliant as Luca is and he of course is we saw some questions raised during those finals some that I’m not sure get answered as easily as some may hope Luca obviously has to be considered but I’m putting him all the way down at number four behind Shay gilis Alexander that team is coming Oklahoma city was the number one seed in the Western Conference they were the youngest one seed in the history of the NBA seating process and they were the second youngest team in the entire league they’re getting better Hees a superstar I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to see them take one more step forward and win a championship in the next year or two and number two and he now definitely deserves to be in this conversation as a superstar is Jaylen Brunson Jaylen Brunson of the Knicks absolutely must be considered that he was second Team all NBA this year he got significant consideration for MVP this year he’s that good in the Knicks are that good I’m not convinced that had they remained healthy they wouldn’t have G let’s put it this way they would have given Boston by far the toughest battle the Celtics wound up getting and I don’t know what winds up happening in that series if they’re all healthy Brunson led the way I think they’ve got a chance but number one if you’ve been watching the show you know I love him Anthony Edwards to me this guy is the truest heir to the throne that Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant have occupied he’s got that game he’s got that demeanor he’s got everything right he’s got a very good if not great team around him I do believe there is a little tinkering that needs to be done there but if they get that right I think Anthony Edwards could be the next young Superstar to be carrying around the Larry O’Brien trophy so that’s my list of young stars and the ones I believe will be the next to win the title not necessarily who I think wins it next year but who I think will be the next to win the title wemy donic SGA Jaylen Brunson and Anthony Edwards Udonis what do you think I don’t understand why you ain’t got bam out bio up there bam out bio you believe bamon I’m just saying he’s been to the finals twice and he’s just turned 2 years old yeah my bad I mean he’s five time on the defensive all defensive team yes I mean he’s on his way to being a champion he’s been around a champion uh a lot so I think he’s on his way to being a champion and I think once again a healthy Miami Heat team challenges the Boston Celtics you are nothing if not consistent and I appreciate it men lie women lie numbers don’t and look exactly right I know look the Heat have been a lot better team than people have given them credit for in recent years they’ve been in the NBA Finals too of the last five SE why do you think of the list H yeah I I like the list it’s amazing we think bam adabo is older than he really is right because he been in the league for so long I literally he already won one no he hasn’t my bad I like that you included Jaylen Brunson in this list because I think a lot of people are overlooking him a lot of times of what he did this season because of the injuries and everything else him at number two I feel like he’s about to do something or could do something this Summer that could really changed a lot of things with his organization once again and that is to take an extension early which would save the Knicks $40 million and that would give them the opportunity to make some other moves and changes that could build this roster up for the chance to win a championship he’s letting you know that’s what he’s all about this off season is going to be all about getting there and that’s why I believe in him Monica the list uh I like the list uh controversial take here slightly I’m going to do a little Switcheroo though this flies counter to everything we just saw in terms of the Boston Celtics needing time to grow but I think this group is going to get it done before this group better Thana yeah I do um I think I mean obviously I don’t want to boil the entire series down to freeos but they were right there in terms of almost taking U uh Dallas out right like bad decision late game in that final game ultimately MVP candidate finalist third third in the in the list um I think that SGA and Jaylen Williams are as close as you get to the duo of Tatum and brown now I’m not sure we got to discuss how big the Gap still is but in terms of guys that do it on both sides of the floor like that to me they looking like them in terms of that team is screaming for experience to go I know I know I know I know I’m saying you bring in some guys like UD to bring in guys like this onto their bench to help them learn how to win a lot faster I’m going tell you one thing about that Knicks what happens with OG anobi that’s going to be hug that’s going to change about that title coming to New York sometime soon that is going to change whether that they have to get that part of it figured out and I don’t disagree with your take on that I just I I guess I’m just going with my guy there’s something about Anthony Edwards I just think is [Music] [Applause] spectacular NBA on is
