I’m officially just bored of the whole Jason Tatum Jaylen Brown debate right now Jaylen Brown is playing the best basketball of his career and it continued in game one of the finals more and more I’m just seeing stuff about how oh maybe Jaylen Brown is better than Jason Tatum and part of this is definitely the weird anti- Tatum agenda that’s out there and I kind of get it he’s not the most exciting Superstar and he plays for Boston so people don’t like him but the two things I just don’t get about this whole debate is one everybody seems to flip-flop every year after the 2022 finals everyone was anti- Tatum then last year Tatum dropped 50 in game seven against the Sixers and brown sucked against the Heat so then we were back on Tatum and now everyone’s back on Brown again cuz his stats are better but are they cuz also if Tatum’s the one garnering the most attention from opposing teams and he’s the one they trust in big moments then what does that say and look I’m not trying to take some moral High Ground here I love a good beef but this one just seems kind of dumb

man basketball is a team game, no superstar can bring a team to a championship without another great player in todays game, let them compliment each other it doesn’t matter who’s better if the ball is going through the hoop

Man, is there really a need for Teammate vs Teammate BS? It's basketball, team sport, 5 v 5, and to me , it's better to appreciate them picking up each other when someone is having a bad night.

The difference is one player is a all NBA defensive player who has to guard the best player every night while maintaining his numbers and the other person takes 22 more shots during a series and barely has more points.
I think the main thing is that JB is naturally more of a leader so he appears to be more valuable in that regard but he thrives because Tatum takes so much of the attention offensively. Leadership wise and skill wise they really compliment each other well and are very comfortable in each role. JB that of the 1B player but main leader, JT more of the 1A and can get you 50 in a game 7 but not as much of a vocal leader. We need them BOTH and together they are the best duo in the NBA. That’s not my opinion that is based on wins. Go Celtics!!!

Tatum’s better. He’s clearly better. There’s no debate, people just don’t like Tatum even though he’s a top 5 player. Brown’s doing great because tatum’s taking all the heat, and the Celtics aren’t retarded so he’s actually passing the ball.
As a proud brown fan, who is a spurs fan and wanted him over tatum in 2018, hes always been better he just never had the draw of tatum. He's always put up similar stats while taking the other teams best player on d and has always been more consistent in the playoffs. That to me matters more than sometimes hes better than brown while taking most of the shots
Jalen Brown is the best player on the Boston Celtics, period

I can honestly say I've never flipped flopped and always have and always will say Brown is better than Tatum. Brown's offensive numbers are only a little less than Tatum and that's because Brown plays both ends of the court
They need each other and they blocked out the noise to become champions. Not a Celtics fan but I love the game and unity amongst brothers. Congrats to them

I love the fact that nobody knows, it's Playoff Tatum, and Brown🤣 Tatum is a better regular season player, while Brown is a better playoff player.
As a Celtics fan Jaylen Brown is my favorite but I highly doubt that he can be a #1 option on a championship team and his performance against the heat in game 7 when Tatum got injured is proof of that
