Chicago Bulls continuing to build towards the future Patrick Williams is back on a 5-year $90 million deal and it’s a big number it sounds like a lot of money and it is but as the cap continues to rise this is only going to be 11 or 10% of the cap each year moving forward that’s basically the mid-level exception so getting him locked into a 5-year deal there is a player option on that fifth year I think it’s a smart move for the Bulls to make as they continue to build uh it does come with some risks though he has not been as productive as you would have hoped the number four overall pick to be for the first four years of his career he’s been 10 points per game the entire time but I do think he can get a lot better he’s got to stay healthy he’s still recovering from a foot injury that he sustained earlier this year I think he will continue to grow into this contract he’s playing alongside other young players like Kobe white I asumu Josh giddy Maus melis now I think he continue to put the ball in his hands see if he can grow and develop as the Bulls build for the future
