@Indiana Pacers

[Singer] I’ve mentioned Indiana before as a team to watch for KCP, & I heard it again yesterday. Would keep an eye on Pacers, among Sixers and Magic as teams that could lure him out of Denver. Have heard — & it makes sense — that he’d be looking for a longer deal at this point in career.

KCP would be a solid pick up. The starting lineup would become extremely crowded with him vying for it. We’d have a somewhat average starting lineup but our overall depth would be pretty elite.

The Denver Nuggets to Indiana Pacers pipeline is alive and well. ABA teams unite!

I don’t think it makes sense but ig he’d be a good asset

  4. As a nuggets and pacers guy, get him. Dude never disappoints on defense, he’s a bigger pest than TJ

I don’t think this makes sense unless there’s a move to follow. Love the fit, but we’d be overloaded at guard again!

Is there a way to sign Toppin and KCP? I don’t think we have that kind of space. Maybe involving the MLE for one of them? I can’t keep this stuff straight anymore.

Unless I’m mistaking something, they can’t sign him outright. Would have to be a sign and trade which seems unlikely

They are saying he’s going to get 20 million. Why do people keep putting us in this deals for players we can’t afford

I want to run it back. I want to see if the Pacers can build on last year with the same players. I love this team

I don’t see how this helps the Pacers. Dudes gonna want over $20M, and he plays a position the Pacers are pretty solid at

All of this KCP and Lauri dreaming, and when it’s all said and done, the one outside free agent they bring in will probably be someone like Caleb Martin lol

Fits and makes the Pacers better. I also don’t think he improves the team enough for the FO to pick paying him over seeing more Nemhard/Ben.

Hope not. That makes no sense unless you think Mathurin can’t develop

  14. Ok_Librarian3717

Why? He’s not better than Nesmith, would want more money likely if not the same and hes 31 years old 6’4. No chance. Smoke screen.

  15. StanceLephenson

Meh, I’d rather stick with the young guards we have. No room for him

  16. PadKrapowKhaiDao

How the hell is dude only 31? Seems like he’s been in the league 20 years.

    It’s hard roster decision time

What fits this team better: keeping all our young offensively talented guards, or a defensively minded wing to shore up what was a major deficiency last year?

That’s what getting KCP would boil down to. We can wait on Mathurin to be that guy, or go get that guy at the expense of some young peices

BUT I do want to point out this is only saying we’re in the conversation along with other teams, and KP said recently he sees us running it back and developing. Still seems to me to be more likely the asking price for him will be too high for us. Time will tell
