CP The Fanchise On The Knicks Trade For Mikal Bridges, Anunoby Deal & Grading The Draft

CP the franchise welcome back to the show Good weather in New York it’s NBA draft season Nicks are making all type of moves how are you feeling man feeling good my dude as you said man beautiful day in the neighborhood here in New York past couple of days has been good man so yeah man orange and blue skies as they say man most definitely you know I’ve been putting Mel Bridges in fake trade scenarios for a while we actually had a post that was shared quite a lot recently I had Julius Randle in the trade that didn’t happen you didn’t even like the idea of that yeah so when this trade went down you didn’t even have to give up Randall you get Mel Bridges you are leveraging a lot of the future what were your initial thoughts what are your thoughts now I think that’s why I was even more happy to hear about it because me you and Kmart were talking about it that you know kind of just debating like if if they had to throw Julius in the deal would you do it and I I didn’t want to do it because I didn’t feel like that was going to really roll the ball forward for the Knicks as much as I love Mel Bridges but to hear that they were able to get him for yeah a number of draft picks and and it’s a it’s a large Hall I was thrilled man to add OG anobi to add Macau Bridges to OG anobi because I already figured OG was going to sign by then you bring him in with Brunson now you could put D venzo and hardt on the bench it’s going to be phenomenal so I didn’t think the price was crazy just based on where the Knicks are right now and their trajectory now was the time to put the pieces in the middle and they did it for a guy who hasn’t missed a game yeah 434 consecutive games in his prime premium two-way Wing I got to do it all day every day so I don’t know the name of the caller I wish I had his name but you had a post on your Instagram Nix Fant TV everybody go follow it go subscribe all that good stuff drop a like um he didn’t like the idea of leveraging that much of the Knicks future from Mel Bridges what would you say to the Knicks fans with that sentiment yeah that’s Ari he’s our resident Debbie down um you know people who have been listen you need one of those right you need one of those right right so he’s kind of the balance people were kind of tight about it like yo why’ you give air time but listen we we we put the the positive the the people who were for it including myself and we put the the tractors and look there were there’s some people who think like Ari who are just may not be as brave enough to to step out there and call in so got heart though no matter what he got heart got he’s toxic but he’s got heart so I put that out there and and the people are ultimately the judge but nah man like when you think about it they put the 2025 pickup 27 all the years 29 31 at least the first two you have to think if all goes well for the Knicks those are still going to be picks in the 20s you know later on in the first round if they win the chip it could be the last pick like you know yeah those are those are picks to me that that won’t have that much value now 29 31 maybe but again it’s the cost of doing business you have to you have all these picks you had them for a reason but the way that the Knicks were inching closer and closer to salary cap I wouldn’t necessarily issues but I would say challenges in terms of how they were going to construct their roster this year was the year that they had to be more aggressive it just it just that’s just how it played out is a good way to put it the time is now time is now time is now and they did it on a player who’s worthwhile getting he’s in his prime all these guys are in their Prime man go for it yeah doesn’t mean there no guarantees it’s going to work but you to put these players in here who complement each other who fit each other and are in their primes young players it’s no-brainer for me man yeah I was thinking about this when it comes to Mel he Draymond to the Warriors is kind of like Mel to the Knicks because as good as these players are they’re probably even more valuable with these specific teams yeah no question man it’s it’s about the sum of the parts and that’s why like stand alone are you doing that from the cow Bridges no but if you feel like he can be another that can help you move it forward and you see the chemistry that they had how o anobi coming in he he had an 87% winning percentage when he came to the Knicks 20 and3 when he was in the lineup so Brunson changed things OG change things like it’s different you don’t necessarily have to wait around for that top two player because number one that that guy may not ever come around and number two this team has put so many guys guys together and have built that identity and based on where the league is going where you need two guys and a good Supporting Cast they put themselves in a great position totally agree I was watching your guy Bobby marks talk about the OG extension yeah and he was saying you know obviously this is a guy you want to keep but to him the contract felt a little Rich what are your thoughts on that what are your thoughts on the extension this is who they got in bed with you know the there was there was no price that was too steep once they made the trade and traded Emanuel quickly and RJ Barrett on New Year’s Eve last year once you did that all all bets are off I mean if I’m OG and his agent I’m like okay we got him here then when he comes in and goes 20 and three with the team now I’m like oh we definitely got him it’s a cost of doing business bro and and for the Knicks like again another risk a high risk very high risk yes but a risk a risk that that you had to take nevertheless I mean look Emanuel quickley just went out there got himself 35 racks you know 35 bags you the prices are going up the salary cap is also going to be going up so you have to look at it in relation to what percentage of the cap it’s going to be by the time it does start to increase in escalate but like I said for the Knicks you just had to do it we could talk about the Nova Knicks we could talk about the draft picks but I do think the biggest X Factor for this next team is probably OG’s health no question it’s going to be the health of OG um and you know unfortunately he’s a guy with with a lengthy injury history last year it was the elbow and then ultimately or unfortunately in the playoffs it was the hamstring injury so he nevertheless needs to be healthy and also think the health of Julius is going to be important those two guys those two guys assuming everything else assuming Bridges is still Bridges he’s an Iron Man assuming Brunson no matter what happens to him he finds a way to still get there in April and deliver at OG and Julius man their health is going to be um the keys to the next successful run here do you feel like Julius is going to have to adjust in any way because this team is a lot more deep or Julius should just continue to do what Julius has been doing over the course of these last few seasons well with another guy like Bridges who yes he can play off Ball but the last couple of years he spent as an on ball you know High usage guy so I think there’s going to take some time for everybody to adjust and where Julius is concerned I do wonder if you know with adding another guy like Bridges to the lineup how does he handle maybe it’s a little less Touches for him or maybe it’s some time where he may not get the rock on every possession can he still play an efficient game not just shooting but you know making quick decisions getting off the ball if he’s not going to make a move with it how will he impact the game if the ball does not get back to him as often as it did in the past I I do wonder that but I think look this is going to be the best team that he’s played with and you know as a guy who draws as many double teams as he does having not just OG out there now but now you got maau Bridges another good Corner three-point shooter another mid-range shooter a guy who can attack Closeouts you know he’s just more versatile look Ragu is great as as a flamethrower no question but Bridges can get it done at three levels you know then you’ve got OG’s efficiency now you got Brunson who you can create for and Brunson doesn’t have to go out there and get all of his shots unassisted this should be a great time for Julius I just want to see you know with that extra guy can he still play as efficient as he has uh before he went out with you naming all these names I’m thinking like they have the top end Talent they have three at least All-Star level talents you know Brunson is MVP level Talent at times Julius all NBA Mel Bridges in my opinion could play at an All-Star level they have the depth on top of that as well you know I feel like I see a little bit of debate about what the starting lineup could look like what are your thoughts on that like what would be the ideal starting lineup for this New York Knicks team from your perspective ideally it would include Isaiah hardenstein at the five yeah and I’m hearing the OKC stuff I’m hearing all kinds so so you let me know what’s going on with that well not not a closed de not a closed door on the Knicks but I think what it’ll come down to is again at the time of this recording recording on Friday at on June 28th free agency starts Sunday at 6 p.m. eastern time time I think where we where we what we will see with hartenstein is he’s going to have the Knicks contract which will be close to the max or at the max that they can give him and he will have a contract that’s 20 million or northwards from either the Orlando Magic and what’s the difference between those two that could be like say four five mill it depends right like I mean Nick claxon just got 25 yeah you know he just got 25 four years 100 I think i’ take ihart over him any day so yeah yeah I agree is there a team out there who wants to offer him 25 for a shorter term deal or does he say you know what I’m going to stay with my brothers for the 16 to 18 and I’ll have longevity I’ll be in New York I’ll be with the team you know I’ll be the starting five no changes you know no quick changes for my family I think that’s what the the um the fork in the road that’s going to be presented to him on Sunday and we’ll just have to see where it goes but I say that say ideally I’d like him at the five but adding Bridges and and with show with OG showing his versatility I think the Knicks have will have the wherewithal to go small if they choose to a lot more often I think tiido has shown the ability to adapt as of late and maybe you can go Brunson Devon chenzo um Bridges OG Randall or Brunson Hart so Hart Off the Bench like hard Off the Bench yeah I like hard Off the Bench I like hard packing his natural role Off the Bench but as tip showed that’s the guy that’s his guy in crunch time so if you need to get a little bit more rugged you need some boards some from some physicality you could put hard at the two Bridges three og4 Randle 5 you’re going still going to be able to get after on the board still be able to defend be versatile be switchable I like that right there they have the ability to go five it won’t be full-time I don’t think they put Rand at the five time but but they have the options now it’s interesting they might have addressed some of what they’re missing in the draft but we won’t get to the draft quite yet when you look at this roster what are you thinking in terms of Arc Type of player that this team still might need even though they feel really deep in the moment well we have to see how kic looks it’s hard to put you you know immediate de facto backup point guard on a rookie even though he’s older and he’s experienced he’s a senior 23 years old I still think he will carve at a nice role in this Nicks rotation and depending on if miles McBride gets dealt in this Bridges trade which is still not finalized yet K it could have even more prominent role but I I think the Knicks still could go out there and maybe even get another uh veteran backup point guard with the vet minimum but that’s what they need they they need a playmaker Off the Bench who can number one allow McBride to play in his natural spot who can find Divan chenzo in his spots who can get get heart going as well and whichever big man comes off the bench maybe it’s Mitchell Robinson maybe it’s not but they that’s what they’ve been missing since quickly left is having somebody who who could you know really efficiently run that second unit it was a big time struggle when quickly left and even though in the playoffs they got by it’s still there were still issues there because at times you know when teams wanted to buckle down defensively like in the Pacer series McBride still can be limited as a downhill threat to get those pain touches to get us easier shots around the perimeter so you mentioned the word vet what vets have you been hearing about what vets are you thinking about in terms of them having that backup guide that could be great in the locker room and also help them on the court court when uh Brunson needs a rest yeah it’s kind of Bleak man because you know you’re talking about vet minimums you know right now who’s out there it’s it’s the kows of the world it’s the C pays it’s the Chris duns guys like that I mean I think for the Knicks they’re going to have to hope to get lucky where maybe somebody gets cut and you know is does Malcolm brogon get cut from the Wizards and and he becomes available right that be great for the what happens with CP3 like they have I think they need to wait around and see if somebody better becomes available where they’ll still get their bag elsewhere so that you know the 2.5 or whatever vet minimum they get from the Knicks it’s like yeah it’s it’s pennies but I’m getting the most of my salary elsewhere anyway so it’s okay I’ll take it and because I want to play with the Knicks and they have a lot lot of Promise that’s the type of player that they’re going to need to get lucky to get kind of like when the heat were building out their team and they were able to get those vets like those those really good vets on cheap deals because those guys are like listen man this Heat team has promis and I could potentially win a ring let’s go ahead and and see what it do that’s the LeBron special right get those vets they play a little bit better they want they want to win that Championship yeah um let’s Shi from vets to the rookies to the draft what’ you make of the niick draft we got pcome Daddy we talked about kic a little bit yeah how would you grade this draft for the New York Knicks I mean I have to put it as a as a c overall because we just have to see how things shake out right um because I I felt like their approach in this draft was both monetarily looking towards the future to remain flexible and and then also uh picking up their guys who were on their board which looks like Tyler KCK from Marquette was definitely on their board but you know for diet I think he’s going to be a draft and stash pick even though he thinks he’s going to stay up here with the team based on the scouts that we talked to you know a guy with a lot of offensive potential but still needs to work on his game I talked to my guy David Xenon last night on the show Scout and and skills trainer and and he said you know he he plays his age so certainly a longer term project but by and large a lot of the people that when you do your research and and um you know they give their take on them guy who people people think has a has a big ceiling with the team so if they’re able to get that cash savings there put him send him back to Europe let him developed for a couple of years that that’s a good idea it’s good thinking based on the fact that their roster is already established where a guy like him’s not going to get playing time anyway um I had I wondered if any of those bigs were high on their board like when when um we went to the heat at 15 where was he on the Knicks board you had EES Missy go to the Pelicans he high up on the next board because you know Darren Holmes went to Denver all before the next pick I do Wonder just based on the uncertainty with Isaiah hartenstein if they had a plan to get a big at that spot at 2425 but then when when no one was there they ended up moving it back they get the draft and stash pick save some money and I have to think kic was was always on their board and they were able to get him in the second round which saves him even more money and I thought that was a great pickup so but the only reason I put it as a c is just it’s just cuz we have to wait and see how these guys actually play out in their rookie years and Beyond you know Kevin McCullers Jr good Defender needs to work on his offense I don’t think he makes the team maybe he’s a g-league guy and then uh Ariel um hawpy Center out of Australia I think he’s going to be another guy who’s going to be due for development so it’s kind of hard to grade when you know I I don’t think you know three out of the four guys I don’t see making it to training camp yeah I mean Tyler 15 and seven the Knicks they like their lefties they like their big these guys um talking to David uh what’ you learn about his game and just in general from what you’re seeing is there a chance he can help out right away because that is the Arc Type of player that the Knicks need and on top of that he does feel like one of those guys that could benefit with NBA space because he’s very skillful and he has great feel for the game the playmaking The Vision the feel for the game just as you said I think he can come in here serve a role as as just a a distributor at at the moment and then hey a guy who shot close to 40% from three if he can go out there knock down some shots play off of the guys and then just help just make the right play and keep the offensive Rhythm I I think he will craft out a nice little role for himself uh even at the rookie stage but he fits the mold that I felt like the Knicks were going to go with into this draft especially in the way that you know with these CBA restrictions you the need to find Value out of your rookies has never been more important you need those guys to fit in those back ends of the rotation to fill roles for you and so with that in mind I always felt like the Knicks were going to go out there and get an upper classman plug andplay ready not a not a project in terms of making this immediate rotation and he seems to fit the mole man and he’s got that chip on his shoulder man he’s got that chip on his shoulder like Brunson like he sees himself as an overlooked prospect that people just keep sleeping on and that’s the guy that’s going to fit this culture perfectly you’re so right because you need guys on smaller deals and you need rookies playing really well like we saw this sorry when the Nuggets won a championship with Christian Braun like that’s one example but even Derek Lively this year with the Mavs like you need guys to play well to be true title contenders you need those rookies and smaller contracts to do well because there’s only so much money in the world right yeah think think think about a team like the Mavericks man like they don’t have a lot to to to move and they don’t have a lot of moves to make in terms of improving their team yes they they have a high floor when you have those two guys with Luka donic and Kyrie and they did a great job of coming together as a as a Duo but what Lively was able to do for those guys man like he changed the pace he became that vertical lob threat for them his passing his passing when you put two on the ball you have a a kid who’s short-handed and capable of you know eight times out of 10 making a good decision with the ball that’s great value right there man he was very helpful for them to get to where they got into in in the NBA Finals well the Knicks took over day one of the draft with the OG extension that was probably the biggest story of the day but we all know what the biggest story of the day was for day two bronny James drafted by the Lakers um no matter what you say about bronny there’s going to be a lot of reaction it’s great for Content all that great stuff uh my biggest takeaway is LeBron gets what he wants right like he gets his podcast partner as the coach he gets his son on the squad probably CP3 is next what did you make of it because this is the biggest story in basketball right now I got I would love to know how the Laker fan feels man because they they they were never 100% in on LeBron you know how the Laker fans they’re very protective over their franchise and and their Legends so LeBron I don’t even know when he even when he won the chip if he’s got full support from them but you know the today’s hot topic was nepotism and this that and the third I mean you could see this coming from a mile away like right right right right why is why is everybody surprised LeBron said he wanted to play with his son he get he leaves college early the scouts are all low on him they’re like ah he needs work he needs work he needs work so the fix was in for the for him to drop to the Lakers from the jump and then the and then on top of that knowing that this is LeBron james’ son and that they want this to happen I think the league said look you know if he’s going to just top out to be just a middling role player why do we want to take him and then him not be happy and not work out for us let him go to the Lakers and do what he needs to do now does he need work I’ll leave that to the scouts maybe he turns out to be worth that slot or even better we’ll have to wait and see maybe that maybe JJ’s system and playing with his dad knowing his dad’s Tendencies things that this that and the third maybe that helps him playing on the Lakers but you know like you said LeBron wins man LeBron always wins man why do you think people are so bothered by the nepotism like it’s it’s always been thing it’s LeBron man it’s it’s LeBron people people get bothered by everything that that LeBron does I the whole nepotism thing just makes no sense to me man like we’re not talking about a a a kid who was supposed to be a lottery pick well maybe he was a couple years ago but that that could have just been based on hype man like you know what I mean like these these rankings are also controlled politically as well oh yeah I mean it it helps engagement right having Ronnie in the first round so it’s not like he was a legit top five candidate that they just swindled the league and bullied him into going to Lakers like this was a kid who nobody who’s is high on so what’s the big deal oh what he took somebody’s slot at the 55th pick in the draft did he did he really take somebody’s money he take somebody money off somebody’s plate with the 55th P pick in the draft maybe he’s already set I guess reading into it I think it strikes some basketball players that maybe never made it to the league and they look at like oh he made it because his dad is Brun but that’s just the way it is and then if you’re actually really good enough you’re GNA in life you’re going to get to where you have to go right like and I I think that’s the thing like it bothers people because people think it isn’t fair but at the end of the day you got you got to work like everybody’s situation is different and I think you know for my son if I could get him on the Lakers I’m getting my son on the Lakers even if he’s not good enough me personally easily bro there’s nepotism everywhere man in every industry in every Walk of Life unfortunately it’s not to say that it’s okay but yeah some somebody’s always going to get screwed out of something man but like you said for the guys who may have gotten overlooked maybe they they sign on as an undrafted free agent maybe they go to Europe but you but if it’s meant to be for you it’s meant to be for you you will be seen so yeah you know it’s just one of those things but I I think in a grand scheme of things as a fan of the game and a fan of LeBron especially after he left the heat I think it’s great I think it’s great to see you know I wasn’t old enough to see the griffy play together so I obviously they’re going to brand and Market the hell out of it you know what I’m saying they will be on Christmas day in prime time probably against the Celtics and so hey as this is part of LeBron swan song but I all the Lebron hate I’m telling you once he’s gone you’re going to see bro it the the league is going to be a it’s the ratings are going to be average man yeah yeah you think yeah yeah man I mean yeah look there there a reason why um networks make LeBron every thumbnail right like there’s a reason you have to that’s your cash cow man yeah yeah he gave you what 20 20 some odd years of greatness that’s why like like I said that’s why after he left the heat I was good I can go back to being a rational fan about LeBron James okay okay yeah um we’re gonna we’re gonna actually segue from that to our quick rapid fire sure what 30 for 30 will we more likely see Nova Knicks or bronnie man see that see like if I say the bronnie 30 for 30 that might be like predicting his downfall or no you know what it could be you know what I was thinking they win a championship and Le retires and bronnie actually plays some regular season minutes that would be crazy all right I’ll go with the bronnie one I’ll go with the bronnie documentary man the pressur are playing with his dad you know yeah that could be a bad bad story man but yeah I’ll go to bronny story man yeah most underrated professional wrestler ever most underrated most underrated wow Booker I’ll say Booker T I’ll say Booker T I like that I like that yeah I I’ll say Booker T Harlem heat man longevity he was on top of the game he had a lot of different titles World titles TV titles tag titles Booker T man he was consistent he was consistent and and he was always doing his thing and he had skills absolutely definitely part of Harlem heat heat man yeah book Booker T his stamp on the on the industry is definitely there and it’s underrated Man cp’s favorite New York Nick of all time um always waivers but I I you know I got to stick to FOR THE FANS, BY THE FANS!!!

  1. Yea seeing what Quickly got. I don’t see it as an overpay for OG. I’d rather be paying OG 212 than paying Quick 170+

  2. Talking draft picks. Has Thibs evolved enough to play rookies?? With the talent on this team?? I think not. Catastrophic injuries is the only way. If they aren't good enough to start, then they ain't playing.🟠🔵

  3. Bench looking weak as sims most likely getti g trsded to brooklyn over mcbride and no bogey,no achuiwa ,no burks and hartenstein walking makes knicks bench look very weak compared to before og massive contract

  4. Even though hes in the HOF, Dick Barnett is the most underrated player of all time…and the Puma Clyde is still the dopest sneaker on the market

  5. So to those who think 6 picks is too much. I though that too and wished there were some protections (even if its just protecting 1-3 overall) but I guess that's what was needed to make the deal. Houston offered 4. So you can't offer 4 because 1, the Nets would avoid giving a player to their "big bro" and division rival. Also the Rockets picks are more likely to be, on average, higher over this span than that of the Knicks. You pay the 6th pick because it's like in Monopoly. You have the oranges and 2 of the reds, and you need that last red to get the best properties. To you that red is worth more to you than Boardwalk and 2 greens. Because it completes your set. Also, even if you get the best players, there's no guarantee they get a long either playstyle wise or personality wise. Here you pretty much know they play well together (you have their college play as evidence) and you know they're all friends with each other and get along. So even if there's another player with similar stats to Bridges, you pay the premium of another pic to ensure chemistry. Last but not least, while past results do not guarantee future performance, and nobody can predict injuries, he's been an ironman so durability will hopefully be a strong point – that is worth the pick swap.. Durability was the biggest issue this past season, so that is worth the premium of the 6th pick. Also the Knicks had a warchest of picks so they still have a lot of picks to use, so trading away 6 picks when you have a total of 13 is not as bad as trading away 6 picks when that was all you had. Plus now we know we have like 5 additional 2nds and the Knicks have a history of finding value in the second round. So the team isn't totally in a lurch.

  6. I BEEN SAYING THE KNICCS ARE THE FAVORITE 👍💪…. BOSTON WAS A FLUKE 👎…. THEY WON A CHAMPIONSHIP IN A YEAR THAT ALL TEAMS WERE INJURED N RUNNING AMOK ….. I ONLY SEE THE KNICCS AS A TEAM TO BEAT 🪘💪…… BOSTON WILL HAVE INJURIES THIS SEASON AND WILL BE A BUST 👤🫸…. IT'S ONLY RIGHT THAT THEY EXPERIENCED THE SAME THING THAT EVERYONE ELSE HAS BEEN GOING THROUGH ESPECIALLY THE KNICCS

  7. Im a die hard knick and see a path to win vs Boston. But until we beat Boston they are the team to beat. Thsi is not the time to talk big. We need to walk the walk first, lets talk then.

  8. How do we feel about the team if Paul George goes to the Sixers? I’m still confident that the Knicks could beat them.

  9. Booker T underrated then states all the titles he won lol King of the Ring ………Part of 1 of the best Tags of all time as well but UNDERRATED? ….Underrated ya got to with like a Brian Pillman, Owen Hart, Shelton Benjamin, BamBamBigelow, Rick Martel, Rick Rude, Mr. Perfect…… lol Booker T got way more spotlight than all these guys put together … Current I would have to go with Chad Gable comes to mind 1st …Always down for some wrasslin talk!

  10. 🔥🔥i didn't know cp3 was availaBle.. if we don't resign iHart & Jeriko Simms is still a two – way player.. i say we give cp3 the ring he deserve like Nation New York does too.. Furthermore, find a xenter who kan pass, reBound, Blokk & Dunk & move.. As we have a Benxh who Kould Be trusted & passing the Ball keeps the game Rollin.. if we Kould stash another 3 & D wing on the Benxh.. That would also Be great.. Damn, whoever Not trying to join this New Dynasty.. This is your caveat.. As its our turn again.. Let's Go Knicks.. Respext to Leon Rose & ThiBs 🤔🤔 use those xhallenges wisely 😎🤘🔥🔥

  11. The real question i have is…what is the secret to not getting hurt? OR…what is the secret to managing injuries so we can make a deep playoff run/championship?

Randle’s shady injury (f the Heat) made me feel like that was our shot at the ECF going out the window. How do we avoid these types of injuries when you got guys in the league who are willing to pull dudes down to the floor and play dirty?

  12. I forgot the last time we were this talented. I've been following Kolek and McCullar in college if they are motivated enough there's no telling what we can be. LET'S GO KNICKS 💯💰🍾🍾🍾

  13. We really need to stop calling them the “bench”. They are our second unit period. Pretty much each of those guys are starting caliber players and they proved it last season. Step up your game! Get it started CP!

  14. What is the obsession with hartesnstein. Every big in every series kicked his butt. Embid dogged him even miles turned dogged him. He was the weak link

In addition he cant shoot clogs the paint and is not as strong as a reb or defender as mitch.

  15. Mikal 440 plus straight games played…That is why most Knick fans and Thibs said the hell with part time always injured players like Paul George, Zach Levine, Jimmy Butler part time players with huge salaries!

  16. I'm more worried about the offense the Knicks are running with Brunson bouncing the air out of the ball when you have another scorer in the lineup rather than Randle

  17. Those draft picks, best possible outcome, would net a player like bridges. 2025 is the one draft class that matters for the next 3 years and we wouldn't have had a high enough pick so those probably would have been packaged to move up to….draft a player like bridges.

New CBA made it that getting a player like bridges, on that bargain contract, means you're doing something many other teams won't be able to pull off for years.

New cap rise rules with the upcoming TV deal in 2026 means every contract we making now won't hit the cap as hard in the later years. That also means that when the TV deal hits and the salary cap AND aprons go up, new contracts for Julius, brunson, and later bridges, hart have a great chance of fitting.

Knicks fans, 20 years of suffering turned into 4 years of masterclass team building. We here!

  18. The Knicks one of the top teams in the league without doubt. They have a strong chance of making a deep run/winning the chip long as everyone stays healthy.

  19. WE HAVE TO STAY HEALTHY, that’s it!

Thibs has to be able to adjust and not grind these players’ knees to the damn ground.

  20. @KnicksFanTV, The Knicks should sign Mason Plumlee as their back up center. He has almost the same value that I-Hart has but at a cheaper price and he plays similar to I-Hart.

  21. Yo cp i hope you right about dunn. That's my younger cousin. It a be dope as hell to see that happen. Only thing is ima keep it real. He a dog but kinda a hot head. But thats what make him a dog. He been through a lot and got that fire he would be perfect for ny
