  1. Cowley is typically the most pessimistic Bulls reporter of them all so this is hella encouraging. Thank god they are finally seeing the light šŸ™ŒšŸ»

  2. Taking a step back for two years? This organization has been taking a step back for almost 10.

Cowley is an absolute Ass hat as well

And Iā€™m sure AK would love ownership to sign off on a long rebuild. A lot of job security to keep cashing those checks

As bummed as I am to see the bulls go back into the tank mode which means several years of losing are our future, it’s the only way to make any meaningful progress towards competing for a championship. Its sad but true. Glad AK is finally in agreement on that. Just wish they’d have sold off the assets back in mid 2023 when it became obvious Zo was never going to return to form and this team wasn’t going to work as is. Could have had a massive haul for the pieces back then. Instead we’re going to start from scratch and hope to lose enough to keep our 2025 pick with no additional picks aside from our own.

AK is convictive and aggressive when heā€™s got a vision.

Say what you will about his moves in ~ā€™20 (or whatever year it was), but he was decisive and quick with his acquisitions. Which I like.

I didnā€™t hate those moves at the time. Itā€™s hard to defend his inaction over the past 3 years, but I think Iā€™m of the minority that is willing to see what he can do in terms of tearing this down to the studs and renovating.

For his sake, I hope he gets it right, because I donā€™t see him getting another gig if he fucks this up again.

Itā€™s worth noting that heā€™s done a great job of locking up young talent for super cheap (Coby/Ayo/Pat). While I doubt any of those guys will be on a competitive team with any iteration of the Bulls, itā€™s those type of contracts that fetch you future picks and speculative talent in the trade market down the road.

  5. Wish we could’ve done this a year ago, but I’m just happy we probably don’t have to watch those three play basketball together ever again

Wow, that *is* encouragingā€¦didnā€™t think they had it in them. Big ā€œifā€ though

  7. AK and ME are the new Kenny and Hahn. Not sure I want them doing another rebuild. There is no light at the end of this tunnel since JR is owner.

With some of the younger pieces they have now, I feel like if they’re bad record-wise, at least they’ll be fun to watch.

If I’m giving away a FRP to trade Zach, it better be a 2028 or something.

Tank for Flagg and then the better Boozer twin
