Houston Rockets Extend Jeenathan Williams Qualifying Offer My Thoughts!!
yo what’s going on guys this Houston Sports Talk Back in another video today and today it’s been reported that the Houston Rockets are extending janathan Williams qualifying offer this is great news at least for me as a Rockets fan excited that the Rockets are doing this by extending uh Jan Williams more more is real name Nate Williams qualifying offer by doing this it makes him a restricted free agent Jan Williams was on a two-way contract last season with The Rock and did a really solid job when given an opportunity but if anyone wants to potentially go sign Nate Williams and potentially bring him in in free agency uh being a restricted free agent means If he if he were to try to leave the rocket sign an offer sheet with somebody um the Rockets can match any offer so uh most likely looking like Nate Williams Jonathan Williams is going to be back with the Houston Rockets next season because I really believe look n him being a two-way Contra guy is’s not get offered a lot of money you know to sign an offer sheet somewhere so most likely the Rockets are going to you know resign him on another two-way deal and you know I think next year he’s going to get more of a chance to potentially uh get himself an NBA contractor the season he had he averaged 2.9 points per game and one rebound per game and only 22 uh only 22 minutes sorry only 22 games played in 22 games he didn’t play that much um so uh yeah I think I think he’s a great player he showed some really good things um when getting a bunch of minutes in the preseason and there were a couple games where he did get some you know some decent minutes there were a couple games where the Rockets were really short-handed and he actually got to get some minutes as like the ninth or 10th Man in the rotation so there were a couple games I think two or three games where he kind of got lucky and even though he is a two-way contract Rockets were so short-handed that he actually got some decent minutes so um you know he he’s a de he’s a very good score and um I’m excited to see if the Rockets bring him back but most likely it’s looking that way after the Rockets you know extend his qualifying offer which makes him a restricted free agent let me your thoughts and peace out go Rockets
