Koby probably should’ve been fired with JB then. This shit is not good enough. No glaring need? We don’t even have a below average 3 with size let alone a decent one…
There isn’t any moves they can make. Any viable trade piece doesn’t have enough trade value to make us better. It is what it is
SpiderJedi22
Lmao
Just trade Mitchell if you’re content running it back
JRSwishistheGOAT
No glaring need? Cmon man we barely got past the magic last postseason. I like the FO and have supported a ton of moves they’ve made but this team hasn’t had a starting caliber wing since LeBron was here.
NeverSlipInTraffic
We have no real SF “no glaring need”
SomeFatherFigure
There is no magical upgrade at SF available, and I’m confused as to why everyone seems to think there is.
Anyone good enough to move the needle is locked up or would cost more assets than the Cavs have. None of the cheap options are any better than playing Okoro or Wade out of position. And the ones in the middle are guys almost nobody wants due to various flaws or reasons, like having to pay $50M/yr for Ingram.
If someone else comes available, then you see if you can get anything done; but until then you see what the new coach can do with what is already on the roster.

we don’t have cap space or assets to get one rn and there aren’t any available, we just got a new coach so we can see what he’ll do and the focus is extending mitchell, all of our players are under contract for awhile so if we do decide to trade them during the season it wont crater their vslue so we can afford to wait and see how they perform and how the market shakes up/what players become available
Illustrious_Kale_692
If we are keeping the core 4 I don’t really see how we can get a bigger 3 that would be an improvement on Strus. His off ball movement is crucial for the starting lineup. Someone like Deandre Hunter would just stand around not doing shit
Besides, Travers is coming over. He’s a 6’8 wing we can bring off the bench so everyone can stop freaking out
mutantturtleninja
I think Jaylon Tyson is gonna surprise a lot of people this season and actually see a decent amount of minutes. Strus, Wade, Tyson will be the wings. Might sign a depth piece as well. But I think some of the “oh my god we don’t have a wing” is super overblown.
TheLandFanIn814
The Cavs beat both the Mavs and Celtics. At full strength I take last seasons roster against any in the NBA. Run it back.
Pigeon9
Oh also Jalen Smith is right there as a backup big (another thing we need) who can shoot 3s
NeatTry7674
They don’t have the capital or cap space to make a realistic move

Yea I already know this but some of you needed to hear it. My main hoppe is trading with the Warriors to take a swing on Wiggins. I feel like they would like to offload him for expirings and we can hope last years disaster was just a random down year and not a sign of things to come. It would be a massive upgrade if he had a bounce back year but I don’t know how motivated the Warriors are with trading him.
Why does everyone want to dismantle a team that has improved every year the past 5 years. I hear everyone screaming we don’t have this or don’t have that but never tell us who we should get and how we are supposed to pay for said players. Many teams are lucky to have a core of 3 and because we drafted ours we get a core of 4, but this won’t last long being the taxes would get way to expensive for any owner.

If this is true people need to be fired in the front office
Impressive-Tennis867
Can’t wait till Koby leaves
THEOSU007
Lol pathetic we barely got by the magic with Mitchell dragging us single handedly on offense
Buckeye2525
We’re just going to roll with the “we weren’t healthy” excuse to run this back
Kenya151
Glaring roster need is not having a playable backup center for when Allen get hurt
QNIKET8
surely a backup center option (Drummond) was available?

Get Koby the hell out of here now.
