so these buckaroos overnight have signed Stanley Amud 25-year-old from the Detroit Pistons and this is a guy that shot 45% from three last year on a tiny sample size but really where I’m evaluting this move on from is his time in college especially with Arkansas because like I said he played in 24 games with the Pistons and it’s the Piston so it’s very tough to evaluate but overall knowing that the Bucks have really no cap space to any major free agents I do like this move quite a bit this is a guy that has been known for his defensive chop since his college days where he played on one of the best defensive teams in college basketball Arkansas who I actually watched quite a bit that year he’s got good size very strong 6 foot six and he fits the profile of what every bucks fan has been asking for just an athletic Defender that is versatile it can knock down a wide open shot that’s all we want we don’t want a guy that only plays defense but you can leave him wide open on offense and we don’t want a guy that can get Buckets but then there a liability on defense and Amud he’s not a scorer by any means but he’s a guy that has the potential definitely can’t rely on it because like I said he only played in 24 games for the Pistons last year you can’t have your hopes set too high but with this type of move you just have the hopes that he could have the potential to crack the rotation and be a good piece and he does have the potential to do that um he’s going to be fighting with guys like Bo champ um Andre Jackson for minutes next season but he has a chance to potentially surpass those guys and really crack the rotation and really fit in a lineup with a Dame Middleton Giannis Bobby or Brooke and really be the defend defensive glue to that lineup again it’s a lot to ask for a guy coming from the Pistons but with this Spa free agency you’re just hoping to take a swing on a guy that has upside to fit what they need now hopefully moving forward in free agency they’re able to get one of these guys that doesn’t land um a bigger deal and is willing to take a pro it type of deal you know my hope my best uh hope is torian Prince a guy that got coached by Darin ham last year who’s now back with the Bucks that would be a dream for me but in Aaron holiday there’s a few guys on my list you can go back to my video of top 10 free agents the buck should look for um and see the goals that I have for the Bucks moving forward but for right now Stanley Amud it’s a solid signing for John hor and the kind of out of nowhere not a guy I really thought about or had on my radar but a guy I liked out of college and then went to the Pistons a team that already had a bunch of young guys that were drafted higher that they were going to give preferential treatment to but shot well from three in college defended well in college shot 45% from three last year very excited for this guy solid athlete very strong long enough to switch on multiple positions exactly what the Bucks are needing don’t get your hopes too high it’s possible he doesn’t even make the roster but he has a chance fans and that’s all you can really hope for as a buck fan with the current free agency situation let me know what y’all think though drop a comment hit that like And subscribe please yes sir
