Can’t be let down if you don’t have expectations

Wayward was the first. This is just a continuation.

  3. I happened to be visiting family in Stansbury Park when Hayward announced his departure and when Rudy was traded. Those are the only two July 4th weekends I’ve been at that lake. I will NOT be back this year though. You’re welcome.

The Jazz have zero direction- it’s a dumpster fire

If Lauri does get traded away, depending on where he goes, we may be set up extremely nicely for the future. For example, I’d be stoked as hell if he went to GS in exchange for Kuminga and 4 of their future first round picks. Those could be premium picks after Steph retires, and in the meantime we could finally tank for real and enjoy top lottery picks in the stacked 25 and 26 draft classes.

It would be great to keep Lauri, but the path to being a contender without him is clearer than being a contender with him. If the team thinks they can get there with him, great. If not, it puts us in a better spot to get a high draft pick and a better prospect.

The first time was when G-Time signed with boston and then didnt but really did but didnt but really did… that was the worst.

July 4, 2017. Gordon did not Gail.

    Never forget.

I don’t understand why so many Jazz fans are so ludicrously hopeful that we have any chance with this team, even after a trade. We just aren’t good enough and we need to be worse, because we don’t have many ways to get better. People saying Paul George, what? He’s 34 on a 200M contract. Where else would we even get better? What are these Christmas land routes that lead us to contention? Why don’t we trust professional managers (with incredible track records) to steer us through a tank year or two? Tanks are hard and feel really long, but look where Boston is now. That team was largely created by Ainge.
But we also have to remember this is a competitive league. And other teams are trying to fleece us as hard as we’re trying to fleece them. It takes big swings and hard decisions to actually become a good team in a small market.

So, fellow Jazz fans, please stop getting attached to our players right now. And develop a sense of realism when it comes to the league. We aren’t good enough, and it’s better to suck as hard as possible now, because our team is in a good position to be much better in the future.

  10. I still can’t believe Gordon ruined all our 4ths the way he did… not once but twice. Lol.

Trading Lauri wouldn’t be the worst thing ever imo, would hurt but I would personally love to land Cooper Flagg
