Bucks sign Delon Wright REACTION

[Applause] okay John hor the Bucks GM John hor is a guy that I’ve been very critical of for a while now because a lot of times I don’t understand the moves this guy makes but they just added and he just picked up a guy that was fifth on my list of guys I wanted in free agency and with the Bucks having no cap space getting a guy like d right it’s a great move because the guys higher on that list the books some of them would not be able to get like Naji Marshall was higher on the list and he just got picked up for $27 million the Bucks don’t have that type of money to to spend but knowing that you only have minimum deals available Delon Wright is about as good as you could do and he fits what the Bucks needs now Delon Wright is a guy that hasn’t played a major role on a winning team pretty much ever in his career maybe like with the exception of a year or two but this is a guy that can play minutes for you and not hurt you anywhere he’s 65 point guard so that could be perfect for a guy um playing behind Damen Lillard and just playing 12 to 15 minutes a game he’s a solid decision maker he comes from a family of Pros I believe his older brother is derell wri who played in the NBA for a long time um he’s a solid Defender makes solid decisions and he’s not like an elite three-point shooter but he’s not like a Wesley Matthews type where with the Bucks where he was pretty rough shooting the three or one of those guys that you just can leave wide open on his career he shot 35% from three this past season with the heat and a very limited sample size he shot 37% from three so he’s an NBA average three-point shooter he’s an above average Defender solid athlete although he’s a little bit older at this point now he is at age 32 but he’s not like wash to where he’s completely slow he’s long he gives you everything that you would want right now for the bucks at a position of need where they really need a backup point guard and you don’t want another guy that’s just offensive playmaking you want a guy that can bolster your defense a little bit so like I said with this pickup um in free agency for the most part and with this pickup you’re not going to get a guy that really swings the Bucks fortunes right away or that you’re like hoping to make a crazy change to the team because the Bucks don’t have that available to them you’re just looking to get guys that could play minutes and not hurt not hurt the team and just fill the role because at the end of the day what it’s going to come down to with the Bucks is Dame Chris and Giannis and then to a Le lesser extent but still important Brooke and Bobby if they’re there um and then you just got to Hope like one other guy in the roster plays a major role but at the end of the day it comes down to them and so far with picking up Delon Wright they got that Amud is a rumored pickup they got a potential guy that could um fill their needs as well around that you just want a guy that could be a fourth or fifth option in a lineup and not hold you back defensively you get that with d wri now the past three years people could say you know the Bucks need to make changes Bucks fans are really desperate to make big moves and I would definitely not mind moving on from like a Bobby poris I’m one of the few bucks fans that have never been a big fan of his but um o overall the Bucks are not in a should not be in a desperation um type of attitude they the last three years Chris or Giannis has not been healthy in the playoffs last two years Giannis wasn’t healthy the year before that Chris wasn’t healthy and they still took the SE Celtics to seven games so um until the Bucks get knocked out with Chris and Giannis healthy then there should be no need for panic there should just be hope focused on getting younger and hoping that one of these young guys at least develops so with what you have available in fre agency they got a need they filled the need with a backup point guard that could defend solid Pro can play some defense you know not changing anything not to be a guy that Pro that you can rely on to swing the Bucks fortunes or have a huge impact but if he could just play 15 minutes a game give you an efficient five or six points and play solid defense that’s a good pickup for $3 million to me let me know what y’all think though drop a comment hit that like And subscribe please yes sir
