Wow, didn’t see that coming. I like him on the second unit.

This one doesn’t make any sense to me. Depth option clearly but do we prioritize Jett minutes and play Gary if he struggles? What about TDS? Just a strange dynamic now if you ask me.

Good move, hope the hate train dies down on him.

    1. WTF

    2. Jett Howard get ready to learn G-League-ese for another year?

    3. My opinion of Gary as a bench guy as compared to my opinion of Gary as a returning starter is a real “How Sweet”/“Human Resources?!?!” situation.

  5. Surprised by the move but happy to have Gary back! Think he gets moved at the deadline?

I’m actually a little surprised by this one. Gary’s dependable though, so I’m happy to see him back in Magic colours.

Feels like we’re gonna need a trade to upgrade the roster.

  8. M4C4K4NJ4

Omfg why? He’s worthless. What a waste of money

  9. Meh, I like the price but feel that we could’ve upgraded.

Told yall. Extremely good signing and makes a ton of sense for both sides.

  11. Oh, you liked Mose’s 10-man rotation, huh? Get ready for the 15-man lineup to be deployed.

honestly i’m happy to have him back if it’s for that, what a steal

Why is no one mentioning that Gary has only played in about 50-60% of his available games in the last 2 years?

Anyone worried about depth should not be given the injury history of our group of guards.

I think mgmt thought it was a bad look when in Dec-early January of last year the Magic had to lean heavily on a couple G-Leaguers. When injuries hit us the Magic had no vets to play.

S/T anyone? It’s obvious this guy is made of glass and I don’t see much use for him on this roster. Dude breaks a new bone every year and chokes hard in the playoffs.

  15. Don’t know how I feel about this, I watched almost every game last year. I like Gary but it was frustrating to watch at times it seemed like he has regressed. His defense is great but we REALLY need to him to sink more from the outside, isn’t that his role?

This is a cheap option is pretty good, and a decent second unit so overall it’s a good move I guess.

I still think we could use a better center? Let’s see if Moe gets resigned, which I hope he does. Idk I’m pretty happy with what we have now.

Did we just resign him to a favorable contract for a future trade piece? Who knows

I still get to drop the Gary “Gary Harris” Harris in the game posts for the time being.

We have great depth. Jett and AB will need to prove themselves

  20. Crossover-Bully

Might be unpopular but I actually love this move for us. Gary can fill a nice 2 way vet bench role.

We’re looking deep asf when we bring back Moe and Joe too.

  21. DigitalJockey22

I fully expect Jett to take his minutes but decent insurance.

  22. Peacekeeper17

Remember folks, every year this team has a stretch where half the team is hurt. Right now we are incredibly positioned to deal with those situations

  23. MoooonRiverrrr

Nuggets fan. Protect Gary Harris 4ever. And now KCP too 💔❤️‍🩹

  24. gmbaker44

7 mil a year is really small for a backup guard. He must not be expecting to get minutes unless Black and Howard are just bad or injured.
