Washington Wizards Sign Jonas Valanciunas!
the Washington Wizards have made a surprise signing bringing in yonas Valen chunis back out to the Eastern Conference for the first time since he left the Raptors and he will be there on a three-year $30 million deal so it’s not an absurdly high value deal it’s not even above mid-level exception value so the fact that a team like the Lakers that were we were to be interested ended up not getting him and instead a team that is rebuilding like the Wizards do is interesting but this makes a lot of sense for the Wizards of course they just brought in Alex SAR and the likes of valent chunis is good at a lot of things that SAR is a little bit weaker at in terms of strength strength on the glass post scoring now he’s not as mobile as SAR is of course and he’s not going to be able to help him with the perimeter defending but it’s a very good vet who does very much indicate that SAR is going to be playing the power forward position which further explains the Denny of Dia trade and gives a veteran presence for SAR to learn from in JV

I wasnāt expecting any Wiz FA signing, but Jonasā experience playing with Jaren Jackson lll will be good for Sarr who was compared to JJ3 pre draft
